"I am not pleased with Strothers tax services, Alvin or his staff in doing my taxes in the future after completing my 2022 tax return. (1) His team gave me another client W2s in my completed tax packet. (2) Alvin estimated a penalty on my 2022 tax return for funds owed that led IRS to send a check and letter stating the estimated penalty was miscalculated. Not to mention that his firm submitted my bank account information with my tax return. The funds owed was immediately drafted from my account. When I questioned Alvin Strothers about the miscalculation he blame his software for the penalty that didn’t exist."

"I was recommended by a colleague to try their services for taxes, as my prepares for the last 16 years was retiring. I can say I am not pleased in the least with the lack of communication, the change in prices from being advised 250.00 or 450.00 and then ultimately being charged 570.00 for Bookeeping and taxes, specifically for the preparation of the schedule C. We opted for the 250.00 service fee and to do our own book keeping, as such we provided p&l for both my husband and I businesses, along with our itemized tax documents back in March. I called in May to check status and was told the price had changed from 250.00 to 570.00 as Mr. Strothers had to prepare 2 schedule C,(one which he prepared during the call on 5/10). Both of which was discussed during the initial consultation, so unsure as to why as of 5/10 the preparation became an extra fee. I’m not pleased at all with service and we will definitely not be using their services in the future."
