"I'm a huge advocate for mental health. Family Guidance Centers provided me the highest level of therapy I've had in all my years of working with therapists. They have so many resources and ways to work with their clients. Form in-person to online sessions, they went above and beyond! Can't recommend them highly enough!"
"These guys are the absolute best! I first spoke with Emily over there, who was incredibly responsive and helpful. She got me connected with Maddy Barber, who has been a perfect match for me. I was at first nervous because I hadn't done Telehealth before, but she seriously makes it so easy and comfortable to talk to. She has also gone out of her way to try and find an appointment time that works best for me. So if you are looking for some mental health help, I recommend letting these amazing people."
"I have never dealt with a mental health company so lacking in professionalism. If I call about a billing matter , why would you need to contact my therapist to see if she agrees with my payment plan? Rude office staff. People are dealing with enough. Who wants to call and receive a condescending airhead on the other end of the phone? Do better."
"My husband called to set an appointment for the first time on 2/24/22 around 4:30pm for counseling and the receptionist was so unprofessional and nasty and then at the end of the process she thought she hung up the phone but she didn't and he overheard her complaining about him and his questions. I could tell when he was trying to inquire about making an appointment, she was rude and not welcoming. She asked him, a new patient "I mean, are you depressed or what?" WHAT KIND OF TONE IS THAT TO USE ON A NEW PATIENT!!!!!!!!! Then to overhear her complaining about basic essential questions that ALL PATIENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK was so disheartening and discouraging for someone who is seeking help. He felt pre-judged and it ruined his first attempt to seek help for himself. It made him so uncomfortable that I had to call on his behalf to cancel the appointment. That receptionist needs sensitivity training and customer service training. And this experience is a reflection of the raggedy, poor service, racist, terrible health care system that is difficult and capitalistic and doesn't truly care about the wellbeing of people. Trash trash trash service. We will attempt to find service somewhere else. Run from this office! This office staff violated our HIPPA protection laws by carrying on unnecessary conversations about patients and they are having venting sessions about patients who are seeking help. Terrible service!"
"It's a nice building, with a very home like feeling to it The staff will bend over backwards to make sure you're accommodated. They have with me and I've seen them do it with other folks too. They have all different types of therapists. Some follow the traditional talk therapy pattern, others have a different approach. And, if you need to switch therapists until you find the "right one" for you, they will help you with that."
