"Was upset they were overbooked but that INSTANTLY left when speaking with the staff everyone is so pleasantly nice & listens to your feedback…this will be my new office"
"Communication between staff is poor. The lab where they draw blood is dirty. Entryway smells overwhelmingly of cleaning chemicals or some sort of air freshener. Staff seems checked out. I wanted to establish care as a new patient and they matched me with a provider whose last day was that week."
"Disgusting. I came here with my mother and it was a fight to get a referral. The doctor requested it be sent ASAP but it was never done. The whole staffed almost ganged up on me and my mother because they should’ve sent in a referral a week prior but hadn’t done so. They used “referrals take a while to send over” excuse. Firstly, they don’t I know because I work in the medical field. Secondly, it doesn’t excuse their tone and rudeness. Up until the doctor came to the front desk this lady went “you know what the doctor is right here let’s ask her” all confident up until the doctor told her “it was supposed to be sent a week ago, send it now” and the doctor apologized. That’s when they all decided to be quiet and do their job. The patients are the reason they have a job, the audacity these women have to treat people with such rudeness."
"I am extremely aggravated with the patient service I have been receiving. My initial problem occured when I had scheduled my first appointment. No one had informed me that my doctor had went to another location to fill in for another doctor that day. So when I got to the Bermuda Medical Center, they told me that the doctor was at another facility and that I had to drive to another facility for my scheduled appoinment. I had let that problem go and decided to move on. A few weeks later I got a call from Edwin at Bermuda Medical Center, who left a voicemail regarding my lab work. I called back at the number provided about eleven times throughout the day and I got no answer. When I tried to leave a message, it said that the mailbox was full. I was extremely aggravated that I was unable to reach the office and discuss my information over the phone. I ended up driving to the office and a nurse was able to see me and discuss my results. Nevertheless, it is the principle that I should not have to drive to my doctors office just to speak with a patient representative, especially when they had left me a message saying to call them back. I am going to finish up with my current doctor regarding my lab results and then never utilize Capital Area Health Network again. It is a shame that the Bermuda Medical Center is right across the street from me, which is why I chose it in the first place, and I will now have to drive further just to get good patient service."
"Do not go here unless you are rich. They made an appointment for me then I got hit with a 2400+ bill because they did not submit a referral letter. My husband and I called, went down there and they haven't fixed anything in over a month. The lady that was suppose to make the referral called me on a Friday apologized and said she would call again on Monday that was a month ago and haven't heard a word and even though I have the paper referral the insurance company will not take it. I cannot believe they literally called me and told me when and where to go and now I'm going to have to pay 2400+ for medical expenses when I didn't even want to go to the doctor I was sent to. So thanks Brook- Williams and staff for making me have cancel Christmas this year to pay for medical expenses. Again do not go here! I understand mistakes happen but no accountability what so ever and they sure aren't doing ANYTHING to rectify the situation."
