"I have been a patient of Dr. Zackrisson's for almost 6 years. I originally started seeing her for fertility. She did help me in the beginning although we had our disagreements on my health. I have Hashimoto's and during the past year, she has refused to check my thyroid and run labs due to me opting out of conventional medication and I chose to take thyroid supplements. I explained to her that I felt better off the meds, but she still refused to monitor my thyroid labs and work with me, which is the whole point of DPC and preventative care. I am more holistic and she is not. I was paying a monthly fee for months and not getting anything from it. No follow ups, nothing (even on the labs she was monitoring). Also, be aware, if you cancel with her, she will cancel your prescriptions the same day and not even reach out to you first! Make sure you have your refills filled before cancelling."

Due to autoimmune issues, I am quite familiar with doctors, and I can say there isn't anyone who even remotely compares to Dr. Zackrisson. She is always thorough, takes her time, and never rushes her patients. She is truly compassionate and cares about each individual person. Her practice, Dignitas Health, has been fantastic. I was nervous going the 'no insurance' route with my main doctor, but she and her staff have made the transition very easy. They also are always willing to work with my regular insurance to get medications or labs covered that might be cheaper thru insurance. Sometimes, though, this isn't even needed as she can perform minor procedures and dispense some medications from her in-house pharmacy for much cheaper than going through insurance (and I have a very good insurance plan that covers a lot and has very low co-pays, so that is really saying something!). Please don't hesitate to give this doctor and her staff a try, you will absolutely not regret it!"
