"Update: I called Billing department and was advised by multiple representatives that my account has 0 outstanding balance. This office is doing some kind of insurance fraud! Charging patients after insurance already paid bill!!!!! There is a reason this office has so many bad reviews. Major billing issues, no one knows what’s going on, didn’t bill my insurance 1.5 years ago (why??). Staff is rude and unhelpful. Receptionist asked if we need an interpreter when she heard an accent. Not sure what protocol they have, but you should only offer interpreter services if patient requests it. Highly doubt she was following normal protocol. Was told to fill out paperwork while standing at reception desk! So strange.At all other doctors offices you can have a sit to complete paperwork. Doctor and nurse are great and is the reason why we keep coming here."
"Doesn’t care about patients, talks in circles and is extremely unhelpful. Not to mention his office never answers the phone or returns VOICEMAILS for PRESCRIPTIONS. Don’t waste your time here. Every single time I’ve had to go in it was during my lunch hour. I’ve arrived on time every single time and the last time I went I had enough of it so I showed up 10 minutes late to my appointment. After checking in I STILL WAITED 45 minutes to be taken back. Once I got back there I knew typically I would sit in the room for an hour to wait for Childress to provide less than mediocre health care. I didn’t have time to wait on him like I always do so I told the nurse I needed to be seen fast and I can’t wait for hours on end like usual. I think she understood my frustration and got Childress. He came in and said that if I was on time to my appointment I would have already been back to work…. In every single appointment I’ve ever had I’ve waited 30 minutes to an hour to go back to the exam room and then another hour at least for this “doctor” to come in. He’s so full of it that it’s not even funny. I would’ve still been there if I arrived right at my appointment time and didn't speak up about not being able to wait all day for him. He’s a joke, doesn’t care about patients and needs a new profession. He’s a disgrace to healthcare providers."
"I go to a sister Bon Secours facility and called this one to see if I could get a flu vaccine there. 27 minutes on hold to be told they only do flu shots for patients in their branch. “Can you hold?” Should have been followed with a timeframe if it’s going to be very long. I can’t imagine what working regularly with this office is like."
"I wish no star was an option. Let me be clear, I am a general manager who staffs all kinds of people and personalities. I have 15 years olds working for me who are more professional that the lady at the frount desk. Quite sad for a woman who is clearly an adult. I called one week ago to get my child's physical, didn't seem to be an issue. No call back, so I call (today one week later). I am told to go in to the frount office to pick it up, because it has already been pulled the lady is not available to fax it..... I go in, and I am told they do not have it and keep asking me who I talked to. I tell the least helpful lady at the frount what is happening. Again all she keeps asking me is who I talked to. I do not know what I am doing clearly, I am a mother of one and this is my first time handling all this. The lady at the desk was so unhelpful, and continues to tell me I should know all this like it's a class I should have taken in high school. I will NEVER go back here. Needless to say my kid will have to miss the first MONTH of school while I try to get her an appointment ANYWHERE else except with this larger umbrella practice. You are a person to take money from here. They do not care about the individual."
"I am a new patient. I only want to comment on the signing in process. When you enter there are people seated at the window that don’t direct you. I stood there waiting to be greeted and when I wasn’t I walked up to the window and the man pointed to another colleague. The front desk were loud and when the one lady asked for help she didn’t receive any. I feel they are not professional. For a medical office it’s too loud."
