"Both of the front desk women were EXTREMELY RUDE ! And lied to me instead of just admitting they dropped the ball and trying to find a solution. They are cold and sarcastic ! I’ve been taking my daughters here since 2021 , they saw Kelly archer who was great but Kelly couldn’t see my toddler when I realized she was getting kicked out of daycares for her hyperactivity and would need medication.. this was okay! I told them I’d take her else were solely for adhd treatment ! Which was DOCUMENTED ON MY RECORDS REQUEST in February 2023 ! I made them physical appointments maybe two weeks ago that I couldn’t keep , I called Monday November 13th and schedule both girls and told them I had new insurance as of November 1st and I inquired if the doctor can continue her adhd prescription that she got else where ..they had the nurse call me and she confirmed they would not be able to do that BUT they can see her again for wellness/check ups. I again confirmed she was not seeing the other provider anymore AND we have new insurance so she hasn’t seen ANYONE with it yet ! The nurse assured me all is fine and she will see me at the appointment. Fast forward today 11/17 I called this morning just to confirm the appointment time and Adrian lied saying they left me a voicemail saying they can’t see my toddler , I asked her to look in my child’s profile and provide me the time stamp for when she called because I am sure it would have been documented and she said the call was made the same day . I asked her what time and she kept talking over me and telling me basically it is what it is and they can’t see her .. then they said I would need to get her adhd office visit notes before they can see her again .. why ? If you guys can’t even help her with it.. then as I’m talking Adrian puts me on hold while im still talking .. then she comes back and im still assuring her my child doesn’t have a different pcp and she was only seeing another doctor for her condition ..she again put me on hold while I was talking then blind transferred me to Katie and who was also rude and spoke over me when im explaining the same things to her and .. I went into the office and signed releases to get my kids records and go else where and Adrian shrugged her shoulders , rolled her eyes and told me she’s not going to have this conversation with me about why she blind transferred me and put me on hold several times while I was explaining to them she has no other pcp and also telling them I never got any voicemails and I asked her again in person for a time stamp on when the voicemail was left and she got quiet and tried to act like she couldn’t find it and then said Katie put a note on my daughters account yesterday that we transferred care zz still no notes saying anybody called me to cancel !! UNPROFESSIONAL and I caught it on video , I will be sending it to the office manager and calling until I speak with her since they claim she’s only there on Tuesday."
"I completely agree with others who have mentioned the front desk lady's rudeness. I've been coming here for four years since my son was born. Dr. Adam Falik has been my son’s doctor for this entire time. He is incredibly professional and friendly. Dr. Falik has a knack for explaining things in a way that's easy for patients to understand. But the office is terrible. Normally, they send appointment reminders, but unfortunately, they didn't this time. I ended up forgetting my son's insurance card, as it's been quite a while since our last visit. The front desk lady denied the visit at first, and I showed her his insurance card on my health insurance app. She insisted it was already on their file and not valid, which was not true. I explained that it was indeed his insurance card, but both the front desk ladies were sarcastic, insisting it was 'not valid'. After urging her to double-check, she finally realized that the card was valid and printed it out. She then bluntly told me to bring the physical card next time. I'm 30 minutes away from home, I was frustrated and irritated by their behavior. It's important for her to learn how to communicate politely with customers before starting her job. If they could simply remind me about bringing the card beforehand, like other employees do, it would greatly improve the experience. Overall, it was a very unfriendly and unprofessional encounter."
"I am so frustrated with this office. First let me say I have 4 girls….. I decided to have their records transferred here and start their physicals. They would only schedule me with the nurse practitioner which normally would be fine but she was not thorough at all and she said a few things that I was like….wow that is not right. I do have a degree and and a medical background and I was quite surprised at this and disappointed. But that is really not why I decided to share this review. They are very unprofessional. I have been unable to schedule my girls an appoint for a physical and a sick visit because I needed to speak to the office manager due to a no show that I forgot about because I received no reminder and it was very far out because they had nothing! So now they tell I have to wait for the manager to call me next week. So I said ok and waited NO CALL so I call again after a week and she was VERY VERY RUDE to me!!!! I just don’t understand rude at all. She just kept repeating the same thing that she was not in the office. Even when I asked if there was any other way to contact her she just kept saying “I’m she is not in the office right now” with a smart matter of fact tone. Then told me to go to kidmed. I was shocked. Please find another pediatrician it’s not worth it trust me. The rudeness of this front desk lady was unbelievable. There are more things that happened and if I could give 0 stars I would. There are too many good pediatric offices to waste any time on this one. Oh and parking is a nightmare and the waiting room is dirty."
"Our family have been patients of Henrico Pediatrics for the past 7 or 8 years; seeing both Dr. Falik and NP Kelli. Both are fantastic! I have never had any issues with the office staff - they have always been pleasant."
"I went in for my sons 5 week check up on 12/7/2020. I was asked if I had his Insurance card. Yet I had completely forgot it. When they called to remind me about my appointment they never mentioned that I would be turned away and DENIED a visit if I didn't have his insurance number. If you are a new mom you know it take like 2 + hours to get a newborn out of the house. It is so extremely difficult to get up and go. I took off and entire day without pay to be to this appointment. I live over a 30 min drive one way from this office. I would never recommend anyone to go to this office. Because I made a new mom mistake of forgetting Banners insurance card on our third visit he had to take the blunt of it and was denied to see the doctor. So wrong in my opinion. Dr. Wilson the 2 times she saw him was good. Gave good advice but will not be returning due to the office staff being so rude."
