"Dr. Fan helped me with not only Sciatica, but also helped me lose 36 POUNDS! I had been suffering from sciatica in my left leg for over 2 years, I had seen a chiropractor and tried everything for relief but nothing worked. I was pregnant with my 4th child and could barely walk, stand or sit for long periods of time without my leg going completely numb. A friend of mine suggested for me to see Dr. Fan and try acupuncture. I was hesitant at first because thinking of having needles in my body was a little scary, especially being pregnant. When I went to see Dr. Fan, he was kind and took the time to explain to me the benefits of acupuncture. After the FIRST session I was able to walk out of his office standing straight up again. He continued to treat me over the final trimester and he helped with not only back pain, but also was able to relieve my swollen feet and legs from pregnancy. After I had my son I went back to see Dr. Fan and asked about acupuncture for weight loss. He thought it would also be helpful to get some of the weight of to also help with my sciatica. The first week I lost 8 POUNDS!! I was stunned by how well it worked. I began to see Dr. Fan every week and continued to loose at least 2 pounds every week. I noticed my appetite changed to where I was no longer craving food all the time. I was no longer snacking during the day, and found I was no longer able to finish my usual portions. I also noticed when I would eat sweet things my stomach no longer could tolerate them, eventually I just stopped wanting to even eat sweets. After about 15 weeks of weight loss treatment I have lost a total of 36 POUNDS! I honestly had no idea that it would work so well. Dr. Fan has been incredible to work with. I have been so impressed with Dr. Fan that I have sent my husband and my 14 year old daughter to see Dr. Fan. He treated my husband for shoulder and back pain, and treated my daughter for ADHD (yes he treats that too!) in just 5 weeks I have noticed a major improvement with my daughter’s ability to concentrate on school. She got her first 100 on an English quiz, and has now started to want to do homework and complete projects early. It was like he turned the switch “on” in her brain. I am so thankful for him! "After suffering from osteoarthritis as a drywall finisher for over 30 years, I decided to have total knee replacement in June. It was a bit of a struggle for me to get over the pain after surgery and was having a lot of trouble extending and flexing my leg properly even with in person physical therapy and exercising at home. So at the four week point, my surgeon suggested having a manipulation under anesthesia, which I did.
