"After having an awful experience at another Drs office I got a referral for Dr Samuel at Seasons and he is awesome! He actually took the time to sit down and answer all my questions and explain what he was prescribing and why. He went through my medical history and asked questions. This is how it should be! Highly recommend this place! I don’t just feel like another “overweight patient with period problems” like the other Drs office (behind Kroger in Bristol) said while I could hear them at my first visit! Very discouraging. Thanks Dr Samuel for your time and solution!"
"I would not recommend seasons for Women at Bristol or DNP, Stacie McCray to my closest friends or family. Being a professional myself, ethics, quality of care, punctuality, and attention to detail are important to me. I waited for an hour to be seen and once I was back in the room with the provider, I was told I could not be seen for preventative services (covered by insurance). This was a first hearing this information despite proving my insurance ahead of time and checking in with the front desk when arriving. This resulted in receiving a bill for services, a ‘new patient visit”, by this provider that I never gave permission for. I would have appreciated knowing this upfront so I could either leave or reschedule when services could be covered but this was not the case. Months later into appealing and investigating this further, I was still told it was my responsibility. I find this unacceptable and something I have never dealt with before, which is why I will not be returning to this provider or practice. I was happy to take my service somewhere else local where I felt heard, seen, and respected. I wanted you to know the facts before making an informed decision to be seen here and determine what is best for you."
"Dr. Samuel does NOT know a woman’s body. I have been heavy bleeding for the past 9 days and all he suggested was to wait 3 months to see if my body will adjust. I have been through 3 boxes of tampons. This is NOT okay."
"From the moment I stepped into their facility, things seemed off. I don’t know if it is because I wasn’t married or younger or what. Firstly, I want to mention that I never had the chance to meet my doctor until the day she broke my water during labor. This lack of personal connection and familiarity was unsettling, to say the least. What disappointed me even more was their complete lack of follow-up when I tested positive for COVID-19 at 38 weeks. Given the current circumstances, I expected them to take the necessary precautions and provide additional attention to monitor my health. Unfortunately, I was left feeling neglected and ignored in this critical aspect of my care. The way the staff at the office treated me was condescending and dismissive. I felt belittled when I expressed my concerns and was met with dismissive attitudes. As a patient seeking guidance and support during such a sensitive time, a little empathy and understanding would have gone a long way. To make matters worse, the office claimed to have scheduled my induction, but when I arrived at the hospital, the staff there had no record of it. This miscommunication created unnecessary confusion and added stress to an already daunting situation. It reflects the poor coordination and lack of professionalism within the office. Overall, my experience with this OBGYN office was disheartening. The lack of communication, dismissive attitudes, and overall incompetence made what should have been an exciting and reassuring time in my life soured by frustration and disappointment. I urge others to consider these factors before entrusting their care to this particular office."
"I asked for my hormones to be tested. I was told they would give me estrogen. No testing, just here let's see how it goes... How is this even appropriate? After being referred to Currated RX having to wait 4 months, spending an ungodly amount of money to just have a virtual appointment and wait another 6weeks to get results. I went to pro compounding pharmacy. Got my results and a prescription in 2 weeks. Why am I having to find my own medical care when I go to a place that is supposed to support women? The NP also scheduled appointments without telling she was putting a request. I am very disappointed with the care or lack of provided and will be looking for another provider."
