"My elderly mother called to say she couldn't get through and asked me to try so she could confirm her appointment and get instructions for fasting/meds/etc beforehand, since they usually call or email to give that information and she hasn't heard anything. The recording says to press 2 if you're a patient, but pressing it disconnected the call (the same thing happening to my mom). I found a different number on their website, and for some reason it went through on that number. Finally got through, talked to a nice woman who transferred me to the PET department. A guy answered and asked me to hold, and said there were two people on hold before me. I said sure, no problem. Except it WAS a problem. I was on hold for 45 MINUTES when I decided to use a second phone to call, since I didn't want to lose my spot in line. I figured I could at least quickly confirm the appointment, because my mom is concerned that they haven't called her like they usually do and she doesn't know what meds to skip before her scan. This time I got a recording saying the OFFICE IS CLOSED. So they left for the day, and left me on hold. Now we'll have to reschedule if she takes meds she doesn't know she's not supposed to take, because no one has bothered to contact her. If this scan wasn't so crucial - she has CANCER - I would never step foot in this place. I'm so upset."

"The Technologist is great, I have the same one every visit and treats me with care and compassion while also being very efficient. The only draw back of this office is repeatedly completing the same paperwork over and over with each visit. I am likely unique bc I am getting scans every 6 weeks but it is cumbersome to repeat as well as show ID."

"Metro Region PET Center is a great facility, clean and efficient. All staff was simply wonderful and available to answer ALL my questions, patiently, nicely, and professionally. The 3 ladies at the reception will nicely greet you with a big smile. Ms. Angela took great care of me but Ms. Monique and the other lady (I will ask her name again ) were just as nice. A special thank you to Ms. Debbie (I think she is the nurse), who guided me through the procedure and answered all my questions (and got some more answers for me from the doctor the following day!). Debbie is the one who did the injections (I did not feel a thing), she is sweet and professional. Mr Antonio took care of my body scan and my thyroid photos: procedure was smooth with him. Last but not least, Dr Stack is simply AMAZING! He is competent, personable, he is such a positive person (which is what you need and want if you happen to need the PET Center, right?). Dr Stack will give you UNDIVIDED attention after your treatment because he really cares for people. He has been in the business for a while and is very, very competent. When I talked to him I felt comforted and reassured. I left the facility with a much lighter spirit. I even called him the day following my treatment for an issue that my endocrinologist unfortunately did not want to explain: he took the call right away and explained things patiently! I highly recommend this Center for your needs. They will take care of you! Thank you!"

"Very professional and experienced staff. I had PET/CT scan there. From very beginning from making an appointment through the billing office , I had an outstanding experience. The technician put an IV and take it out without any pain. The radiologist report read at this facility and the same image read by the MSKCC expert Radiologists in NY were same. This is not the case by other radiology group in Northern VA area. In other words the image read by local radiologist in Va and the same image read by MSKCC reports were different."
