"I’m a former student at NOVA and I’m transferring to Mary Washington in August. My time at NOVA has been fairly good. Ive had pretty good professors in various subjects. Ive taken the majority of the classes online and it’s been good expect for my spring semester Spanish class which was terrible since the Professor didn’t want to help you succeed in the class. Now I’ll tell you about the worst part of NOVA. Advising was beyond terrible firstly you don’t get an advisor your forced to do online advising and there not very helpful then they don’t tell you what you need to pass and graduate on time so with there ineffectiveness I got less transfer credits than I wanted but it’s still 45 credits that transferred. The professors I recommend taking. Professor Carbo English 111, Dr Cincinnati US History, Professor Doyle Geo 101, Professor Pazhwak Intro to International Relations, Professor Liberatore Art history 101 Professor Hudson History, Professor Carter Spanish 102 they were all great and very nice and want you to do well . Professors I don’t recommended Professor Nadarcci English 112, Professor Sparks Early Spanish 201 they were just awful neither cared if you passed I ultimately dropped out of Professor sparks early class since she made it so tough and I knew they’re was no way I’d pass so I dropped out. Overall NOVA is a great school I recommended it for anyone that wants to save money for college it’s so cheap."
