"Dr. Hull is the best. She's so patient and kind with my children when bring them in. She's also worth the wait."
"My daughter has been a patient here for 4 years and we love it here! They always call back quickly, get us in and all the providers and staff are so wonderful!"
"Update: We had to play the lottery appointment game again this morning…my husband sat outside from 630-700am, but no one ever came to put up tickets. We called when they opened and now suddenly the receptionist is saying the tickets don’t go out until 730. (My husband got a ticket at 7 last time). So no appointment for us today. Just an update for any other parents looking for advice on how to get their sick child seen! Honestly shocked no one has left a review about this yet…. But I just wanted to comment on their current same day sick visit protocol (specifically for parents who don’t know). This has been their protocol for some time, but it’s the first time we’ve had to go through it… If you want a same day appointment, you need to go to the office before 7am to grab a ticket off of the door. Then, you have to take that ticket back to the office when they open at 8am. You will then sit and wait for your number to be called. If you don’t get a ticket—your child simply will not be seen. Thankfully, I had overheard of this system, and my husband was able to grab a ticket for my son this morning. Otherwise, we would’ve gone all weekend without seeing a doctor (and likely ended up in the hospital…which has about the same level of efficiency and care). I love Dr. Williams (who doesn’t?), but this practice just simply isn’t worth it anymore. The office staff is incompetent and not very nice, and now you have to win some sort of lottery to get your sick child cared for? Unfortunately, we’ll be seeking care elsewhere."
"My daughter went for her college physical. The woman who performed the physical spoke to her in such a condescending manner that my daughter felt the need to speak with me regarding it. She also coded the visual part of the exam in a manner our insurance would not pay. $72.00 for reading the chart. I would not even refer to it as a proper Snellen test. I have multiple children at this practice and over the almost 10 years never have we had to pay anything for a covered physical. I did speak with the office and was not allowed to be on the line when they spoke with my insurance company. When I questioned that, I was informed I would not understand the discussion. Since I have a decade of experience working in the medical field, insurance and all, it makes me wonder what I would not understand. Also, my insurance company representative stated she had never had the situation before, both being told I could not be on the line but also how I would not understand, that was just rude and insulting. I have since pulled all my children from this office. It concerns me that I am not allowed to know the communication regarding my family between my insurance company and the physicians office. What are they hiding? $72.00 for a service covered under a yearly physical!!!"
"I’ve been taking my almost 2 year old daughter to this pediatric and also to the one on sunset lane so this is mostly for the one on Bennett Rd. Lately I’ve been having issues at this place. They clearly don’t seem to care much about patients. The first bad experience I had, my daughter was really sick so I took her in to get checked out and thinking she either had COVID or the flu. Well my daughter saw Dr. Green and when she saw my daughter she said she couldn’t test her for the flu because they didn’t have any swabs for the flu so she ASSUMED it was just a “upper respiratory infection” so I knew that wasn’t right so I took her to the UVA family practice and sure enough my daughter had the flu. My second bad experience was me following up from her hospital visit due to “a UTI” we had follow up with Dr.Werner and told me that she couldn’t do anything but check her urine again because the urine test wasn’t accurate since it was done with a “bag”. So they had to put a catheter in and results came back normal and had me stop her antibiotics. 2 weeks later she goes back to the hospital because of a UTI once again. We go back to Dr. Werner for a follow up and that time they had more info about the UTI and could proceed to giving me an order to get an IS done on her. They had to do another urine sample before her US and came back with some bacteria but they don’t know if we need to do another catheter which I’m not gonna let it happen. Overall some nurses are so rude and should not be working with kids if they can’t interact with them. Won’t be taking my daughter here after her US is done. This place is a terrible."
