"This place has zero professionalism and would rather stand around and chit chat amongst themselves instead of helping it’s patients. What a joke."
"Visited last night and arrived around 7:45. The woman who checked me in was not very friendly to start but she did inform me it was going to be a wait and so I was not surprised when I was infact waiting for about an hr and some change before I was seen. When I was finally brought back, the same woman who checked me in brought me back to a room that had nothing but a chair and table, mind you, my visit is because I am having discomfort and pain in my back suspecting it may be my appendix. So I waited for someone to come in and when the nurse came in she was shocked and confused as to why I was in this bare room with nothing for her to take care of me. I was then moved to a more comfortable room and my vitals were taken along with a urine sample. Now I am giving 2 stars because my wait time was long, and my treatment was far from ideal as I feel as though I was treated for something that wasnt wrong with me. I was told my issue was a muscular issue when I am still convinced it is not and have made an appointment with my PCP and was given a steroid shot and muscle relaxer which didn’t even touch the pain I’m dealing with. I visited for 4 hrs just for the only sample to be taken to be urine and my diagnosis to be completely incorrect. The nurse and doctor were friendly and apologized for my long waiting but I felt short handed and although I was there for what seemed like forever, I was rushed out the door and still am in as just as much pain as I was when I arrived. I would highly recommend going to your PCP if you can bare the symptoms or making the trip to Harrisonburgs ER. I feel the care and trip would be better and you won’t leave feeling like you wasted your time or money."
"Friend had severe face and mouth pain. Went to Sentara yesterday and he waited for over an hour just to go back and have the doctor say she was giving him a prescription and discharged him. Meds weren't helping and he woke up swollen and eye was closing. Emergency dentist recommended going back to the ER but we weren't going back to Sentara. We ended up at Page Memorial. From registration to back in the ER, everyone we came in contact with has been nothing but amazing. So personable and friendly. It's like they actually want to be here and do their job. They got him right back. The wait was a bit but the nurse came back to let us know there was only one doctor and he's making rounds. Doctor came in and was so friendly, gave him the low down on what he was going to do and why. A nurse tech came and got his vein on the first time (he has bad veins) and got the blood work going. His nurse came back to get him going on his meds and apologized for the wait and thanked us for being patient. The CT tech came and she was just as friendly. I have never been to a hospital ER with such friendly and caring staff. Thanks Page Memorial!!"
"Sunday evening in and out in 4 hours. One doc on shift. Fast diagnostic and solution. At Johns Hopkins ED I wait 12 hours just in waiting room! First time here. Clean and nice."
"If you have a serious emergency don't even go here. They'll just redirect you to RMH or Winchester. I'm not sure about now but several years ago my wife's water broke and took her to this "hospital" and they had her sent via ambulance to RMH because they don't deliver babies. This place is literally just a large urgent care."
