Patient First Primary and Urgent Care - Annandale 7042A Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003

"Not great. Wife was 37 weeks pregnant and sick. We went in for a strep, COVID and flu test as she was definitely sick with something and despite there being no other patients we could even see in the building it took over 2 hours to be seen, most of which was waiting around in a room. I write this review while we are *still waiting*. Someone at the front desk said they only had one physician on site which to me is just ridiculous. If they can't staff the place to have reasonable turnaround times it shouldn't be open. It was particularly shocking as we have both been to other Patient First locations and never experienced anything like this. In the future we will go elsewhere."

"My Dr. referred me to the Annandale Patient First for some Blood Work that needed a quick turnaround. Went in about 8:30 pm on a Wed. night. It wasn't busy. I was seen quickly. Everybody was very nice. I was impressed."

"Big kudos to receptionist Reba and nurses Chelsea and Sarah. The three of them were reassuring and went above and beyond to provide comfort in addition to medical care during a difficult day. Doctor Baray gave us effective and professional medical care. His bedside manner is just a little brusque, which is fine especially with how busy he is, I'm just noting in contrast to the exceptional warmth of the other staff who cared for us. Also, the care was LGBTQ-inclusive. That's not always a given in medical settings -- we recently had a pharmacist scoff at us not far from this location -- but there was no awkwardness from any of the staff here after disclosing orientation/relationship or gender identity/history."

"I visited patient first for the second time in the last four weeks for a disrelated situation. I met with the same doctor and he didn’t particularly have a very compassionate bedside manner the first time I was there but he was able to assist me with antibiotics and It was pretty straightforward. Today however my encounter with this doctor was extremely upsetting. I came in Very distressed and was crying and after waiting over an hour he came in very rudely told me he could not help me I try explaining and also understanding why he could not assist me further he remarked, “we’re just going to around in circles here”. It was seriously hard to imagine how I was sitting there crying and trying to Understand why he could not assist me And he had no desire to make me understand and to show some compassion. Ultimately I was misinformed by my primary care when I should’ve actually gone to the emergency room where I was helped. Every single person in that emergency room Made me fear cared about and they immediately Were able to assist me. I will absolutely never go to this urgent care It was horrible service even if it is only 1 mile down the road from me. Do not recommend this urgent care at all."

"It was a very easy process. This is especially helpful when you are sick and by yourself- you need this to be straightforward and easy because you can’t make a lot of decisions. I’ll definitely come back if I’m sick again. They took my insurance and the wait time was almost nothing. The nurses and doctor were extremely nice and helpful."
