"I've been seeing Dr. Zhang at his Ace Care Falls Church office for years now and my wife and I are SO thankful that we found him! I'm not on their payroll - I'm just a patient. With that said, the receptionists at this location have always been polite and kind to us. I've never had fo wait more than 10 minutes to see the doctor. Dr. Zhang is smart, funny, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen. Don't judge a place by a bad review on Google - if you're searching for a physician like Dr. Zhang, schedule an appointment and decide for yourself if he's the right doctor for you...because I'll be seeing Dr. Zhang for as long as he allows me to."
"I wouldn’t trust McIntosh with the squirrels in my yard. Smooth talker . I’m an RN and I know professionalism- She’s FAR from it. Treats recovering addicts like scum and handed out Suboxone like candy w ZERO inquiry as to recovery, support, etc. Another MD said she’s being investigated . STEER CLEAR."
"This is the most unorganized, unprofessional doctor's office I've ever worked with. My first visit was a nightmare with a long wait, unfriendly service, and a dingy atmosphere. They messed up my prescription order and I had an almost impossible time getting the office staff to understand what had gone wrong. It took multiple phone calls and even multiple trips to the office to get it right. I reluctantly made another appointment with them because of convenience of location and was rewarded with a rescheduled appointment time because someone in the office had double booked appointments for the day. They in no way tried to amend their mistake and instead only offered times I could not attend. If any one of these issues stood alone I might consider giving them another try. After two terrible encounters with them, however, I will not be going back."
"Dr. McIntosh is a true professional and great doctor. However, Ace Care where she happens to practice is a disaster. Back in December I went to see Dr. McIntosh about a voluntary procedure. She talked with me about the reasons I was interested, possible factors in my life that could make me a good candidate, and provided me with literature on the risks and benefits. I felt good walking out her office. However, when I tried to talk to the office management about scheduling the procedure, it was a total mess. The office manager, May, insisted that I needed to verify my insurance company would pay for the procedure in advance, which I completely understood. She told me I needed to have my insurance company fax them some sort of verification. However, when I called my insurance company, they informed me that legally they cannot fax any information about my coverage to anyone. When I called Ace Care to tell them that, they were completely confused. Someone gave me the office manager's cell number. I called her and explained the situation. The insurance company said the office could easily call them at the same number I did and verify coverage. When I told the office manager that, she told me to just email Ace Care with my insurance information. I did and never heard back. Fast forward to last week when I get not just a collections notice from the lab about a $460 unpaid bill but also a bill from Ace Care for the entire cost of my visit minus my copay. Turns out they gave the lab the wrong insurance information. However, Ace Care did actually get paid for my visit. My insurance company even gave me the payment ID confirmation number for the payment that cleared back in January. I called Ace Care last week to revolve the issue, and they just told me their records indicate they hadn't been paid and to call back the next day to talk to the office manager. When I got a hold of her the next day, she said to email them. Once again, complete radio silence on the email. I have even sent a follow up email and left a follow up voicemail. I would definitely go see Dr. McIntosh again at a better run office. But this place was just too frustrating to deal with."
"Awful long wait time (my longest wait was 1.5 hrs). Not very organized in terms of keeping track of patients payment. They sent me a copay bill for all my visits, even though I paid them at the time of the appointment!"
