"If you're in need of physical therapy, I can highly recommend the Fairfax location of Pivot (Athletico) Physical Therapy based on my recent experience. I received physical therapy there for foot, back & hip pain. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff are cheerful, friendly, positive and patient-oriented. Everyone at this location was completely devoted to my full recovery and well-being. My primary care providers were Allison, Physical Therapist and Reman, Clinic Director & Physical Therapist. They asked good questions to assess the root cause of my issues and pinpoint what was needed to rehabilitate my injuries and reduce pain. Allison and Reman constantly checked in to get my feedback to appropriately adjust my regimen and the intensity or # of reps for an exercise. I appreciated their collaborative approach. A bonus is that I really got to know Allison and Reman over the course of several months of therapy. I enjoyed our chats about family life, food or activities while I exercised, stretched or received massages. This made the time go by quickly and was much more enjoyable. Over the course of my time with Pivot/Athletico, I was also helped by Milton, Chris & Michael and they were great too. Billy is a newer PT that I didn't work with but he always remembered my name. Pivot became Athletico right when I started PT with them. Like most mergers, the transition to new business processes (forms, scheduling, payments, IT systems or rescheduling appointments) was a little rocky at first. It was always comforting, however, to see LaVerne, regional office manager at the front desk. LaVerne is friendly, warm and very customer-oriented. Her experience and knowledge helped make things run smoothly. I continue to regularly use the exercises and stretches that Allison and Reman taught me. It was helpful to have text access to notes & short video clips of key exercises & stretches. I've had some physical injuries in the past and rehabilitation can be a drag. You don't always feel the progress. After each session with Allison or Reman, I felt positive and lifted. I give them my highest recommendation."
