"I recently went to the store to order a prescribed glasses. Picked a frame and asked an associate for the price, she gave me the price that would be covered by my insurance. I was happy and told her to go ahead with that, in meanwhile another associate came and increased the price to 150 more and said my insurance doesn't want them to allow a discount. Ridiculous! I won't recommend that tricky rip-off place."

"I used to love this doctor before it was bought out by My Eye Dr. Unfortunately, it seems that most positive reviews were left before this Eye Doctor changed owners. I went for my annual appointment, and immediately the service was not as good as it was in the past. I purchased a new pair of glasses, they ran my insurance to see how much they would cover, and paid my co-pay of about $150 at the appointment. A few months later, I received a bill in the mail for roughly the same amount that I had initially paid in office. I had to call My Eye Dr. and ask for an itemized bill. They told me they would mail one, and did not. They continued to call me to let me know that I owed them money, I kept asking for an itemized bill, and they repeatedly told me they would mail one or email one, and I never received one after at least half a dozen phone calls with them. I told them I would not be paying the new bill until I had answers on what exactly my insurance didn't cover, why they didn't cover it, and why I wasn't given the correct co-pay amount at my appointment. They continued to not send me an itemized bill, and eventually they just dropped the charge. I can't help but feel like the practices are somewhat shady since I was never able to get actual answers from them. My family won't be going back to this practice, or any other My Eye Dr."

"My family and I have been going here for years, since before it was My Eye Dr. I've spent multiple thousands of dollars with this business. I made an appointment that I had to wait over 3 weeks for and they call me the day before the appointment to tell me they gave away my appointment to someone else because I didn't respond to a text message I didn't see confirming my appointment. I made the appointment, and I waited 3 weeks for the appointment and you're going to cancel on me because I didn't respond to a text? They asked me to reschedule, I said no thank you, I'm taking my business somewhere else. How do you treat customers like that? I answered my phone when you called today, you could have confirmed with me today that I'm still planning to show up tomorrow, but instead you tell me I'm the one that has to reschedule. No thanks. I'll take me and my 6 person household to another business. I recommend you avoid this place."
