"Update: No language translation services available for our language….really? First and foremost the doctors there are great. They are the only reason why my family and I still see them. The support staff (front desk, billing, phone, and appointment) however are very rude and unapologetic. No customer service at all. Dr. Kim’s nurse has no bedsides manners at all. Smile a little, it might help. We’ve been seeing the doctors there for many, many years and they have always been awesome. The support staff used to be very good, professional, and very caring. I don’t know what happened. But something needs to change, because doctors there are great and they deserve better."
"Janet Conrad had the most disrespectful bedside manner I have ever had the misfortune to encounter as her one time patient. She is completely unsafe and and I will never be seeing her again, and I will go back to seeing Dr Kim. He is kind, he listens, and never interrupts the patient, he never tried to be condescending and talk down to you. She is on a power trip and has dangerous overconfidence that isn’t warranted by any means. I’ve been a patient for years and never had that experience with Dr Kim. He calls and updates the chart, and treats me like an actual human being. It was a 0/10 experience with Janet Conrad that I will never repeat. She has a LOT to learn about respect and bedside manner. Do yourself the favor and use only Dr. Kim, it was my mistake in trusting her, but he didn’t have an appointment the only day I was available. Next time I will wait a whole week to never have to speak to that woman again."
"A simple matter: getting a needed script refilled. 3 calls to the provider's nurse vm over 3 days: day 1, day 2: no response Day 3: garbled voice-mail requests I return their call. I do. No response. Day 4: I go to the office to directly request the script. Had to wait 30 min to get hard copy."
"Very disappointed with the rude attitude of receptionist and staff, especially a lady named Angela. I went to see Dr. Kim at Manassas Internal Medicine on June 6, 2022 for my quarterly diabetes exam and blood test. The receptionist asked me for my insurance card and then returned it saying "your insurance is inactive" in a very loud voice and with a rude attitude. This treatment was very embarrassing, especially because there were 2 or 3 other patients in the waiting area. I called the insurance customer service and they said my insurance was certainly active and I gave the phone to the receptionist so she could be helped by the customer service rep. Apparently, the receptionist had incorrectly entered the trailing zeros and dash. Once the insurance was verified, I asked if the receptionist was going to apologize for the way I was treated. She responded saying that she was making sure that I had proper insurance before seeing the doctor. I said that she had a horrible attitude and she treated me disrespectfully. Just then a lady named Angela barged in and started yelling at me saying that my appointment is cancelled and that I could request that my medical records be sent to me. I told her firmly that I had been a patient for almost 4 years and that they were treating me terribly and that I would provide a very negative review. She refused to let me talk to the doctor or his nurse. To make matters worse, she threatened to call the police when I asked for her name. I will not go to Manassas Internal Medicine again. I left a voice message for the nurse and complained about the treatment by the front desk staff. I let them know that they had lost three patients (my wife, son, and me) for their terrible treatment of a long-term patient. Very unhappy with this place. I am now researching for another doctor."
"Love this well established doctor's office and the entire staff. As of June 1, 2020 there in a new location across the main Hospital in Manassas, Va. Today, while I was In for my yearly physical I noticed an award given to Dr. Kim on April 2019 titled, "Racial Harmony Award". What really got to me was the date of the award so, inquired the staff about it. And apparently he volunteers his time locally and surprisingly overseas (Africa, Latin America etc) or wherever the needs arise. And If anyone has ever met Dr. Kim, it really isn't a surprise"
