"Hotel Manager very rude, argues constantly, does not take any accountability whatsoever. Nor does her front desk staff. I have called Quality Inn Complaints and filed a complaint against them. ISSUES: I called front desk spoke with male there and booked King bed, told him I did not want a "mobility room', he said "Okay". I received confirmation to my email. Got to hotel later in day, rude hotel Manager put me in mobility room. Questioned front desk male who booked room next day and he was argumentative told me "it's first come, first serve"! So even though I had already booked my room King bed regular room, he told me they gave my room to someone else? All that was left inside was mobility room, if I wanted to get a nicer room I had to pay $15.00 more? I just wanted original King bed non mobility room which I had originally booked and got a confirmation for, which is a contract? Toilet Paper Got to room, there was a used room of toilet paper left, it had only a few pieces of paper left on it? My daughter went to front desk and manager literally handed her another roll of toilet paper, no wrapper around it? Horrible customer service solution. Phone: Phone was not working, it was filthy, had not been cleaned, dried drink, food crumbs, dust all over it. Manager told my daughter they will fix phone the next day after we leave. They could have at least sent someone to come to room to see if it could be plugged in properly and clean the phone first. Horrible customer service solution. Upon checkout, the manager made a comment to me about issues and my complaints and continued to argue with me for several minutes. The worst hotel experience I have ever had and the most unprofessional and rude management and front desk staff ever. These two people should be fired, they have no customer service skills at all and constantly argue with customer about their hotel issues. I was staying for a few months in Rogersville. I stayed at Comfort Inn and Quality Inn here. My advice, don't at either. Instead stay at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn a little further away, much better quality and still affordable. I have stayed at many hotels over the years and the worst by far is Quality Inn Rogersville for poor customer service and front desk staff and manager being so rude and constantly arguing with me? I am the customer and was a corporate front office manager for several years too. This is not how you you conduct good business."
"First time staying here. Very clean hotel. Staff is super friendly. Free breakfast included with your stay, ice machine down the hall along with snack & drink vending machines. AC and heat worked very well. Shower had good water pressure which was a plus for me. Room also includes mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave. Flat screen TV provided by direct TV."
"i honestly wasn’t expecting a super fancy nice hotel BUT i didn’t expect the shower to be in such rough shape, its been poorly painted, rusty and super backed up and barely drains plus it was quite dirty so i ended up cleaning it myself. From what it appeared the sink and toilet are very clean but the shower definitely needs work. Everything else is fine, beds are clean, floor is clean, all surfaces seem to be clean with no bad odors. the biggest problem with this room is the state of the shower. Staff was relatively friendly at least and got us an ice bucket upon request! Edit: Room was 115 for owner to see and hopefully address issues!"
"This is our second extended stay here. When we checked in last week and got in our room, my daughter flopped onto the bed and sighed, "ahhh... home again!" That is how the staff makes us feel-everyone here has been so nice and accommodating. Breakfast is very simple but fits the price for the stay. The VERY few problems we have had were not with the staff or accommodations but with other guests that don't seem to care about disturbing others, or damaging property (we were here when the pool was badly trashed by guests; after witnessing what happened, I completely understand why the pool was closed). Any negative reviews for this place were definitely left by those that were basically told (politely!) to stop being inconsiderate or rude. We have stayed here before, are here now, and will revisit when we come back this way again. Love and bless them!"
"We were most unhappy with this stay. The room was really in bad shape. It looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. The flooring was mismatched. The towel shelf had obviously been pulled off the wall. Patched up and put back up. No paint or finishing work. The shower surround was filthy looking. We would not shower there. There were holes in the blackout drapes. Looked like dry rot. I went to get ice, and the machine had dirty towels all around it on the floor. Soaking up the leaks. The pool was closed and looked damaged. Upon arrival, we were told we had the choice of 2 rooms. 1 on the second floor. (No elevator) Or a pet room on the 1st floor. We are in our 70s. We chose the 1st floor. And, as I have stated, this room was a disaster. We booked through Priceline, I'm wondering if we had booked through the chain itself, would we have found things differently?"
