"Found this little gem through an internet search and couldn’t be more satisfied! One of the best customer service experiences you could ever receive, from a campground or outfitter company! The owners are very personable and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and complete with things to do. We didn’t even ask, but they provided kayaks for us to use at our convenience to float up and down the river! It’s the perfect size and location, right on the river, and loved the personal touches. The concert on the river was amazing! Great music and even better people! You’ll not find a better place to camp! The owners are just top notch, honest, and accommodating to meet your every need! Will definitely be going back!"

"We had such an amazing time here - this place really is a hidden gem. We live in Richmond and I was searching Google Maps for where to stay near Devil’s Bathtub, and this popped up. It didn’t have a lot of reviews but I figured I’d give it a shot in lieu of dispersed camping again, especially given the super cheap rate when I called. This exceeded all my expectations. The campsite was dry and beautiful and we had everything we needed. They kept us well stocked with wood. The bath house has a real toilet and sink. We didn’t try the shower, but I heard a woman inside say it was warm. The river is RIGHT THERE and perfect for swimming. There was live music Saturday night! We saw so many stars. It was a great base to hike Devil’s Bathtub and Natural Tunnel, and we took a lovely 5 hour kayak trip Sunday morning before heading home. We absolutely loved it. We will be back."

"First things first this camp ground is amazing family ran camp ground. From the moment you arrive on to the site you are greeting and treated like family. Bobby the owner is an awesome guy. Came down and checked in us asked if we needed anything then stayed down hung out with us! We spent 3 nights and two full days and not one bad thing to say. We came down to hike the Devils Bath Tube. The knowledge of that and just the general area and all the things to do will have us coming back many more times. The rafting tripped offered is defiantly a most do. You go out on the river with a guide. Ours was the owners son. It was truly an amazing unexpected part of the trip.But while we may do different activities one thing will never change Something Squatchy Adventures WILL BE are home away from home. For as long as we come to this area thats where we will be."

"Spent Mother’s Day here and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience! We drove 7 hours with the intention of hiking the Devil’s bathtub, but upon waking the following morning (after sleeping in 30 degree weather) no one was up for a long hike. The very nice gentleman that owns the grounds didn’t want to see the trip go to waste, so he offered to take us on a rafting trip down the amazingly peaceful river. It was one of the best Mother’s Day Weekends I’ve had. We will definitely be making that trip again once it warms up so we can do the hike that we had intended on taking. And we definitely will be staying at this site again when we do! Amazing experience!!!"
