The Little Inn of Harlan

"Our family of 10 stayed here over the weekend and it was perfect for us! Drenda is a great host... She even took my 9 year olds shoes and clothes and washed them for us after he fell into some yuck at a creek. She does keep her fridge and cabinets well stocked with food so having a cooler on hand was beneficial for us. After having such a great weekend here and even hanging out with Drenda and her husband for a while on our last night there, we plan to take a family trip there annually now. We even got to meet her beautiful pups! Shops, stores and a bar are within walking distance. Great house, great people, great trip!"

"I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Ken and Drenda are the nicest folks ever, and the rooms are great. They even provide a continental breakfast for guests. The Inn is located right off the main highway and is close to a lot of great restaurants."

"It was an amazing experience, the owners are exceptional! The husband operates the Black Mountain off-road park so my girlfriend and I did that and stayed here. They are just amazing people and the home was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. So needless to say, the southern hospitality was really there with this visit to Harlan. Thank you guys! "We called Drenda when we unexpectedly landed at the Harlan airport. She was very accommodating and put us up for the night with no reservation or fuss even though she was catering a large affair the next day. The room was spacious and lovely and we had a large, private bath. The bed was very comfortable. I'd stay here again."

"Called to ask about availability and the general manager was extremely rude to me. She told me they didn't have availability (which is odd cause I didn't even tell her what dates I wanted to say there yet). I guess that's how they do business...For a grand finale she hung up the phone on me."
