"Who knew that sitting on a front porch, watching trees grow on the mountains could be such amazing comfort to the soul? The house my husband and our friends stayed in was amazing. With a fully stocked kitchen (minus food, of course) and more than enough space to cook, there is no reason to go to a restaurant. Fully furnished living room and bedrooms with a very rustic feel. So very comfortable. There was so much to do. Want to stay in? There were games to play for all ages and a chess/checker table! A dining table with equipment to turn it into a ping-pong table. Toys, an indoor basketball game, Legos! Lots of Legos. A television in the basement in case it rains. Want to get out for some fresh air? How about a trampoline? A beautiful barbecue grill with plenty of room for a cookout. There is even a pond on the property for fishing. Places to hike. A horse that came through the front yard! You can take a short trip to look at waterfalls. Lakes for swimming and fishing are just a short drive away. Now, let’s talk about the owners. Communication was superb. I honestly don’t think I waited longer than an hour for a reply to any and all questions any of us had. I ordered 3 bundles of wood for bon fires, used only one and, surprise, I was refunded for the other two and I didn’t even have to ask. I was willing to take the hit for the unused wood, but Diane told me that there was no reason to pay for what wasn’t used. If I could rate Michael and Diane separately, they would receive 5 stars for these reasons alone. The day we got home from our week long vacation, we booked for a week in 2022. I can see this being an annual vacation spot. If you really want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it as it really hasn’t gotten there yet."
