"Only issue I found was I asked what activities we needed reservations for and was told movies and golf carts that’s it they failed to mention we needed it for the stables. This causing some family not to be able to attend. Also they recommended Well Hung and that’s where we got the gift cards to and they knew we had children with us but this restaurant is NOT child friendly at all. I am not mad about it but was disappointed. Organ than that everything was great."
"This is a review of the room we bought for participating in a Bluegreen time share review presentation. We stayed in THE LODGE. The Lodge rooms are vastly different from the Cabins and Yurts on the property. Overall, we were disappointed in the lodge rooms and the sheer lack of amenities at the resort. It was New Year's weekend, and the place was like a ghost town... We like to take these review short trips because it us a chance to check out new resorts before we take our family. The surrounding area is beautiful, but from our experience, most resorts have everything we could need. This one fell very short of our previous bluegreen experiences. Beware the closest grocery store is about 20-25 mins away. I do believe our stay would've been a completely different experience if we had been in a cabin or yurt. With that being said staying in a lodge of bluegreen we were not prepared for what little is available... drink machine empty... no microwave in our room... no restaurant or bar... maybe another trip with friends in a cabin... maybe not..."
"Great location, quite and very relaxing location. Most cabins are appropriately spaced. Cabins are basic, but nice. Our was clean, but had a number of maintenance issues that housekeeping should have reported prior to us being assigned this cabin. The sleeper sofa was broken and left open upon our arrival. The master bed rooms blinds broken in the open position. TV batteries dead in two of the three TV's. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Warren from maintenance for fixing the blinds and replacing the batteries. Cabin during this cold spell made it difficult to keep a warm atmosphere in our cabin. Fireplace is wood burning should you want to use. Front door keeps getting stuck halfway through it's path due to floor swelling in floor. Outside on deck is a gas grill and patio furniture. For those BG owners bring your own salt & pepper. No TV guide in cabin. Wifi is sketchy and T-Mobile customers beware of poor reception in the area. But overall a nice quite resort. Security out front and the resort does feels safe. They have pools, inside & outdoors and offer horseback riding. Be cautious as housekeeping staff on golf carts do NOT obey traffic control devices (Stop signs). Enjoy."
"This is one place you have to experience yourself!! Shenandoah Crossing is one of the nicest places we have been to in a long time. The resort is well manicured and kept pristine! We stayed in a deluxe site and the large concrete RV sites can comfortably fit any size rig and the patio has its own table and chairs to accompany the gas grill and a few Adirondack chairs for around the campfire. We managed to book a few weeks here and got to see the leaves change from their summer to fall colors which made our walks around the resort that much better. Some friends were camping here as well in the Wilderness sites and they were nice as well. Semi level gravel sites tucked away in the woods. Those sites did not have any chair or tables but offered plenty of shade and some quiet neighbors that we never had in the upper camping areas. During the week it was very quiet but it was another campground on the weekends with parties going well into the night. The bath houses were spotless and the free laundry was a nice addition. The resort offers a few different pool options, a large camp store with restaurant as well as stables on site. Activities are scheduled daily and plenty to chose from while you are here. This is a must stay if you can book it and one you will want to come back to. We are already planning our next trip through the area."
"Really great experience all around. Lots of stuff to do on site, the view of the water from our cabin was really great. Fairly modern TVs inside and a good amount of cookware and dish-ware was available. We did not have to worry about bringing anything such as trash bags, dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash, etc. everything was provided. Really great customer service from the employees. They truly provided us with a relaxing vacation! Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the mood for some time in the mountains."
