"This spot is right on the mall which makes things so easy to get to. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. No check in or out so really easy. The room came with a white noise machine so the noise of the bars and restaurants wasn't an issue at all. We will definitely stay here again."

"The location of this hotel is wonderful! The room itself was also very nice. Unfortunately, the AC was dripping the entire time we were there, so we kept having to change out a bucket of water. The door was also very hard to use. You had to slam the handle all the way up very quickly, which was tricky when we first arrived. Also, don’t expect to receive any help from the phone number. You’re on your own."

"The room was ok and the bed was ok. I'm leaving a negative review because of the location. We knew that it was right off a main street on the downtown mall but we had no idea how loud it was going to be. We didn't sleep at all because of the loud (most likely drunk) people that were outside on the street. You can hear EVERYTHING outside! There was supposed to be a sound machine in the room but it was nowhere to be found. The room is very easy to get into and the instructions were very easy but we would never stay again. We booked 2 nights and we were so miserable the first night that we went home early and did not stay the second night."

"This hotel is terrific. Being right on the pedestrian mall is super nice. The rooms are very quaint. Not too big but not too small. Very nice bathroom. Room was kept very clean. There's water and coffee in the common area. No front desk... just keypad in. Couldn't be simpler. Highly recommend staying here. Especially nice for couples. Thanks Townsman crew!"

"Just arrived at the Townsman and I am quite disappointed. The room is nice and very cute but, the balcony overlooks a parking lot and dumpster, not described this way on the website. For me the balcony is useless. Yes the hotel is on the downtown mall, but the downtown mall has many homeless people and pan handlers. I feel somewhat scared to go out alone day or night. When I called about the chance of changing property or cancelling some of the nights, I got no help and was told that there was no changing or refund at this point. Please know theses things before you decide to book this hotel."
