Iris Inn & Cabins

"We were looking for a short getaway near the skyline drive so we could do some hiking and have a nice place to come back to... we could not have chosen a better place. The Iris Inn exceeded our expectations. Cathie greeted us when we walked through the door of the inn and made us feel welcomed right away. We stayed in the Deer Room, and it was perfect... comfortable bed, a great shower, and plenty of room for the two of us. We were fortunate to make dinner reservations. Cathie made us some old fashions, and we sat down to a delicious 3 course meal. The Filet and salmon were fantastic. It was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The small plate breakfast each morning was also delicious. We highly recommend the Iris Inn for a place to relax and be pampered. We will definitely return in a warmer season to enjoy the porch."

"My husband and I had a great time, it was the perfect little getaway for my birthday. Their costumer service was amazing, due to the cold day they delivered breakfast to our room and it was delicious. Only sad part about it was leaving but we will definetely be back."

"We loved the cabin we stayed in and it had great views. We ordered the 5 course meal for dinner one night. All of the courses were great except the two main courses. The Filet Oscar and the Garlic Butter Pork Chop were not enjoyable. They both lacked any real flavor and were tough to chew. We expected far more especially for the money paid for the dinners."

"An absolute gem! This was by far the best trip my husband and I have ever been on. We came for the views and relaxation (which was even better than expected), but will be back annually due to the world class hospitality of the inn staff. The personalization in the service and the attention to detail to anticipate our needs was the best we’ve ever experienced and resulted in much needed rest and rejuvenation. It was just what a momma with 3 young ones needed! Thank you so much, Iris Inn! We cannot wait to make this a yearly trip!"

"This is my husbands and I fourth trip to the Iris Inn and we absolutely love it. The atmosphere is relaxing and the views are breathtaking. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We did the prefixed four and five course dinner at the inn and the food was simply amazing! Kathy, one of the inn keepers is so friendly and even gave us an opportunity to see a breathtaking sun sent during dinner. The rooms in the main inn are gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The room we stayed in, had a door that lead right out to the deck which overlooks the mountains. We will for sure be visiting again!"
