"As others have mentioned, this is the nicest of the Massanutten resorts, and it really is a nice place to stay. Took a trip to Massanutten with some family, and we had a great time at the resort. We stayed a week during ski season and spent 2 days on the mountain. This seems like a slower time of the year for them, so it was very quiet most places. Mountain wasn't busy at all during the week but was notably busier Friday/Saturday. If you have an Indy Pass, Bryce Mountain is also within an hour, and we checked it out as well. Check-in was not at Regal Vistas but at the North Lobby which is about a 3 minute drive further into the resort. All units at Regal Vistas are 2 bed 2 baths with a locking door in the middle in order to convert to 4/4s for larger groups. Every unit also has a garage and washer/dryer. We were able to fit a Chevy Malibu in the garage without much trouble but larger SUVs probably will not fit. Unit has a master with a king bed and a whirlpool tub, and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The kitchen is very nice with newer, stainless appliances, and plenty of kitchen items. The furniture was the only real negative of the unit. The couches, living room carpet, and mattresses all are pretty dated and need replacing. Overall, the place is pretty nice, and we had no issues with cleanliness. Each unit also has a small patio with a grill. We were right in the middle of the Regal Vistas section of the resort which meant our view wasn't terribly "regal." If you really want to see the mountains out your front or rear windows (very large windows at Regal Vistas), you'll want a unit more towards the rear or sides of the complex. Local spots worth checking out: Brix & Columns Winery, Santa Fe restaurant, and Elkton Brewing."
"Enjoyed our stay here! Neighbourhood is safe and peaceful, units are clean and spacious, and amenities are good. You can bring food and cook in here. There are cookware and cleaning supplies provided. Basic toiletries are provided as well. Also near Costco and Target for buying groceries."
"This is the nicest condo of the entire resort. There is a garage, laundry, outside grill and table with chairs, full kitchen, spacious, easy access, and quiet. There is a fireplace in both the living room and in the master bedroom. This is the 2nd year in a row staying here and already booked to return for 2024. In winter skiing is just a couple miles up the road, summer has an outdoor water park. Shenodohah National Park is just a short 20 minute drive away."
"Regal Vista, our home resort, has so much to offer. The view of the mountains with their vibrant fall foliage is simply outstanding. The units are modern and have everything that one needs to enjoy a well-earned vacation. The Massanutten Resort, of which Regal Vista is their signature community, is a first-class resort with multiple attractions for everyone in the family. You'll be glad you stayed here and will want to return again and again."
"Disappointed. It’s our anniversary and I wanted to book something spectacular. The house is new, but the view is awful. The website description boasts Mountain Views, but the reality is far less impressive (see attached picture for “majestic” view of a grass berm from patio). It is a lot of “buck” with very little “bang”. Also, when I booked, I was under the impression that there was a $50 voucher included in the package, but I never received one. Finally, we have two small children. The road outside of the house does not have a sidewalk and other renters come flying around the corner. It is unsafe to walk with kids or let them ride their bikes. All around, a very poor initial impression. I really thought this was going to be much different than what it is. This is our first time here, but I’m not sure we will be back. If you do stay here, I would recommend saving your money and staying at another accommodation on the property (other than Regal Vista). It’s just not worth it."
