"I was referred here by my doctor for a cardiologist appt, but I had not done research on the location or office set up prior to making the appointment. The facility is located in a strip mall between a pet store and grocery store - it has the feel of a cattle call urgent care center, so generally was not what I was expecting for a “non-emergency” visit with a cardiologist. The appointment was for 11:15am and I did not leave until 2:30pm — Each leg of the appointment, from the EKG to the consultation had 20-30mins of waiting time. Communication as to what to expect was not transparent. Dr. Do, though ultimately kind and seemingly knowledgeable, initially started the appointment by popping up on an ipad that was mounted on an arm in the room while I sat on a chair in the exam room. After speaking to me “virtually” - then leaving me to wait for some more time - Dr. Do came into the room for about 5 mins for an examination - then left again to sit at a desk elsewhere to finish the appointment via the ipad virtually. I was not there for any reason related to “covid like” symptoms, so this felt highly impersonal and did not make me feel at ease in the discussions had. I have no desire in returning to this location for followups to due to the general environment and feel of the appointments experience. Just know wish I knew better what to expect - it was a very uncomfortable 3 hours."
