"I am writing this review for the outpatient surgery department. I had a procedure done there this morning and the nurses in the pre op and after in the post op were incredible. They helped ease my anxiety and talked to me the whole time. They were compassionate, sweet, and so understanding. I am thankful I received their care!! And of course Dr Taylor and the anesthesiologist team all made me feel very comfortable as I am such a nervous person. The team I had today couldn’t be replaced!"
"I had a scheduled procedure to produce multiple samples for biopsy on November 17. I couldn't have asked for better treatment from everyone I encountered at the hospital. They were all very friendly, competent, professional and caring."
"I am applauding this hospital and shocked to read some of these reviews. Here’s our experience all wrapped up in one; We were there for 6 hrs and from the surgeon ( Dr Chester) to every employee from the nurses to the kitchen staff we were treated with the upmost kindness. From the guard to housekeepers we were asked if we needed any help. This hospital goes above the rest of any hospital my family has ever been to. Thank you to all of you."
"I had the worst experience of my entire life in this hospital last night. I'm appalled by how this was handled. I went in with heavy vaginal bleeding at 10 weeks pregnant. Very heavy bleeding and massive clots. So much pain. First, these people did not give me a hospital gown, so I bled everywhere in my clothes. Second, they made very little effort to keep me comfortable. They let me sit in my own blood, drenched from the waist down for 8 hours straight. They barely came in to check on me the entire time."
"I came in for L&D, when I got there I was in active labor, my contractions were back to back, they were trying to make me complete paperwork between contractions and I had little time to catch my breath it was all about the paperwork and nothing else, I had to instruct the nurse to let my husband complete the rest as I was in so much pain. The nurses during my recovery were extremely unprofessional, I was instructed to do my own abdominal massages, I had to remind them to take my blood pressure, nobody checked my feet or hands for swelling. I had my baby after midnight so the following day I had to inform my job, inform my kid’s school to ensure a relative could pick them up, submit my disability etc. I was shunned for prioritizing that over completing the paperwork for the BC (I was told it had to be complete prior to discharge) I told the nurse I would do it when my husband returned from taking our dog out she said the father didn’t need to be on the birth certificate as long as I signed it was okay, i informed her that the father is my legal HUSBAND and we would complete the paperwork for our child together. There were comments about us keeping the industrial lights off and only using the natural lighting. Comments made about me refusing the pain medication “you’re scared to take the addictive ones” they acted as if it was an inconvenience for them to give our little guy a bath and was insinuating that we should do it at home. The bed was awful, it was a birthing bed and not an actual hospital recovery bed, I could not elevate my feet, I had to sleep in the recliner. I was also told I wasn’t moving around enough 5-6 after labor I was using restroom alone and taking showers on my own, what do you expect for me to do laps in the room? Just very unprofessional! Our discharge nurse was amazing and kind. We were so prepared to leave the staff kept asking if everything was okay and how we were treated, we didn’t even bother to complain we just wanted out of there without any confrontation. Those nurses never once wrote on our board so we could know their names and who our doctors were for the day. The housekeeper treated us with more decency and professionalism than our recovery nurses. They said whatever came to their minds, no filter and no regard to if they were being offensive"
