"I wish it was possible to no even leave a star , this hospital was THE WORST I've ever experienced I seen a "doctor" by the name of Creg j. Grawl he diagnosed my 3 year old son with a viral infection and I refused to believe that and demanded an x-ray be one and then he was finally diagnosed with pneumonia. He also had marks on his tongue that I mentioned and was told that he had " a geographical tongue" and he was later diagnosed with thrush by his pediatrician. CREG J. GRAWL NEEDS TO BE FIRED. my son could've died due to his negligence."
"First off the nurse was great... I could see she cared and I could feel compassion from her. If you read this I don't remember your name (I was in pain) but Thank you. The doctor on the other hand left me unseen in extreme abdominal pain and lesions all over my legs and lower stomach for 4 hrs. Within the 4 hours the condition had spread all over my back and sides as well as my arms.. the pain worsening. When she finally came in it was very apparent she did not care about me. She gave me the equivalent of a slightly upgraded ibuprofen.. and sent me home.. stomach swollen and still in terrible pain. She refused to admit me even after telling me three times "you need a camera sent down". They said I didn't meet the criteria for admission. The nurse told me they could send the camera down to see what's going on for a diagnosis if I was admitted but the doctor said I didn't meet the criteria. She said I would have to see a specialist. In order to see a specialist I have to see a primary care doctor and be referred. So at least a week of excruciating pain. she treated me like a pill fiend and a liar. I'm typing this the following morning.. in worse condition than before I went.. the sores are ulcerating (turning into deep holes). Also the doctor told me the blood work that the nurse preformed showed high white blood cell count. The urine analysis showed blood in my urine... Yet I was treated like a homeless junkie seeking a place to get high and sleep. My Doctor was Joy D Rankin."
"The nurses were all friendly and helpful.. A Big Thank you to Dr. Graul..he is a great Doctor..I was feeling better in no time... Thanks to everyone who took care of Me.."
"We were visiting the area from out of town this past week when my husband suffered an accident. The staff was wonderful; with fast attention, a wonderful doctor and top notch treatment. We are very grateful to them for their care!"
"Last experience there was almost 3 months ago. The treatment given by the staff for my mother was horrendous. She ended up having to go to a nursing home. Once she left there and went to the nursing home only to be sent to 2 other hospitals. She has been in the hospital 7+ times from the simple lack of quality of care she received from there. Numerous physicians, nurses and other health care workers in all agreed she didn't receive the care she needed by Clintwood. She absolutely shouldn't have been placed in a nursing home was also something they all agreed as well. Nobody from my family will ever stick a foot in that door again. Everyone in that er needs to be reported and have their license revoked."
