"I was sent here for help, which I got but the doctor was condescending and not so helpful while I was there. He actually made me feel awful about myself. I’ve been in therapy at the same hospital (outpatient) and don’t even have appoints to myself any longer. There’s always a student present writing down mostly what the doctor asks. I am more a curiosity for a classsroom and a thesis project, than a patient. This doesn’t help at all."
"Trying to get basic information about a family member and no one can help me. No one ever took any of my information but have been told to wait until they contact me. They cannot contact me if no information was taken. Cannot even be transferred to facility to speak with someone because idk what side they are on. How can I tell you what side they are on if nobody will give me information. Really concerned about the professionalism and the care my family will receive. Seems they are more worried about collecting a paycheck than actually helping people."
"This facility changed my sons life. He was finally properly diagnosed and the staff was so kind. They communicated with me as well and kept me well informed of his progress. Dr. Hama rain and Lisa were amazing during his stay."
"My experience was so bad, I wasn't suicidal when I went in but I was when I came out! I wish I had made a complaint but it took me a long time just to recover from the experience. The doctor I had was incredibly degrading and treated me like garbage stuck to her shoe. I saw her treat everyone else that way, too. But the facilities are nice."
"My mother was diagnosed at this hospital for a urinary tract infection this morning. This evening she got sick and passed out. She was very pale, had cold sweats, was confused and was slurring her words some. We rushed her to the E.R. where she was admitted fairly quickly, hooked up to monitors etc. After that initial tending-to though, we were promptly ignored for hours. They did nothing to treat her extreme nausea and sharp pains in her side, although I asked often for something to help her discomfort. Pressing the nurse button did not even get a nurse to come in; they asked over the intercom how they could help. When I told them she was STILL nauseous, and her IV (which they didn't put in until we'd been there about 4 1/2 hours and was only a saline drip) was pretty painful, they said okay they'd come in....which they never did. Most of the nurses were just standing around the station chatting. It looked to me there was only one doctor on duty and one medical student. After 6 hours of laying in the bed, one xray and one stress test, they finally told us around 1 AM that all her tests came back negative and they didn't know what was wrong. I will NEVER, EVER go back to this hospital. This is the second extremely unpleasant experience I've had there. The doctors and nurses flatly refuse to give any kind of medications. It does not matter how much pain you're in. They will not help. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN."
