"My girlfriend went in today with bad back pain. They told her they didnt know what was wrong with her and instead of trying to figure it out and help her they sent her home without any answers. She has had issues with her kidneys in the past but they didnt help her one bit. Isnt it a doctors job to figure out what is wrong even if they dont know? She is in alot of pain"

"Medical services were fine, but as of spring 2023 the billing department was so bad that I would not recommend anyone to visit this hospital. Many of the billing staff members were very rude and generally unknowledgeable. They also were not willing to fix incorrect coding issues even after my insurance company reached out to them and told them that the issues needed to be fixed if they wanted the bills to be paid for. Don't expect your insurance to cover services received here since they frequently do not code them correctly."

"Sadly, our family were in the Lewis Gale Blacksburg ER 3 times this week. We took my daughter to the ER last night. There were no groups of people waiting. It was clean and quiet and they took care of my daughter right away.. My mother with dementia was transported there twice this week with concerns. When they determined that she is just struggling with confusion they treated her so kindly and ordered her lunch to while she waited for her transport . They are wonderful."

"Hospital was clean and orderly. Most everything was visually pleasant and enjoyable. The staff was very polite, helpful and observant. The tests that were run were done quickly and efficiently. They didn't treat us like a number, they treated us like we were special in every way that they could. I have been in a lot of hospitals lately and this one still treated us as if they still cared. I recommend them highly to anyone that has a choice, they will treat you good."
