"Don't go to the ER. They don't give a damn about you or your loved ones. Kept my dad there for 12 hours just to just to send him home with elevated troponin levels and he has history of heart attacks and strokes. Your ER needs a swift slap in the face from Jesus himself. Do better or find another career."
"I was told by a doctor to bring my 5 month old here over the other hospitals because they have pediatric care to check if he has pneumonia. I've been here for 2 hours and they just took his chest x-ray. We've been sitting in a room that's been curtained off into 3 spaces with just chairs. It's a 3ft by 6 ft space for each of the patients in this room. No privacy whatsoever, I know exactly what's going on with the people next to me. There open beds but we've just been shoved off to the side without even being checked on. I'm honestly considering going to a different hospital so my 5 month old can be properly seen and adequately treated. His oxygen was not monitored beyond the few minutes when he was triaged. I had no call bell or any way to reach a nurse. When my son became lethargic and started turning blue, I had to run out of the room to find a staff member to check his oxygen. They then put us in the hallway to monitor his oxygen which was dipping into the low 90s. Our nurse was extremely dismissive of everything I told her and kept repeating that day five was the worst for bronchiolitis, despite me telling her numerous times that this was day 10 of him being so sick and getting worse. It felt like a fight to be taken seriously and not spoken to in a condescending manner. They finally gave him a nebulizer treatment (which he's never had) and it was a fight to get them to monitor him longer (his pulse went from the 150s to the 170s!). While we waited they gave him flu, COVID and RSV test to try confirm the condescending nurse's theory that this was day 5 of a new infection (surprise: it wasn't. We haven't gone anywhere or done anything since he first got sick). The only positive thing about this trip was my son doesn't have pneumonia (although honestly I don't even trust that his x-ray was read properly)."
"One of my family members was sick and we brought them to the emergency room here, a nightmare experience. Our 'doctor' was Adnan Jamil, he is the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life. How someone so evil can be employed as a medical professional is beyond me. When we asked questions and asked for more information about my family member's treatment he became extremely hostile and aggressive. At one point he began yelling and became so visibly angry we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. A sick patient should NEVER be intimated or treated in that manner simply for asking questions. After that experience we had to leave as we would never feel safe with someone like that as our doctor. Please look at the many reviews of this hospital. I would never ever recommend coming here, there are many good hospitals in the NOVA area that there is absolutely no reason to come to this place."
"The ER nurse and doctors were laughable at best. The level of care and checking in from anyone was pitiful. If you want to diagnose what you have going on Google is faster and probably more reliable. I get it’s a Saturday night and you’re busy but I watch 8 nurses and the doctor sit in the middle of the nurses station for hours conversating and laughing after we’ve asked multiple times for an update."
"So.. patient care is advertised all over this hospital as being a huge priority, right? I called to check on my tests, after not seeing any staff for several hours . Nobody came in, so I got myself ready to go. While my nurse was lovely, she didn’t lock the computer, and if I had wanted, I could have accessed any of these other folks’ medical records… please log off when you leave the room."
