"The 2 stars are for Nurse Mackenzie, Calvin and Alex. You 3 were especially caring and kind with me. I thank you wholeheartedly! 3 days later and I’m feeling worse though… I was treated very professionally, empathetically and most importantly Kind by Nurse Mackenzie! Calvin helped clear up an insurance issue and it made such a difference! He saw me upon discharge and asked how I was. Alex made sure I was safe the whole time. He helped me numerous times to the restroom, when I was unbalanced and extremely dizzy. Please acknowledge these 3 outstanding people. Thank you."

"Horrible horrible horrible…..thought we were in a good place cause they took me immediately. I was sadly mistaken. This is one of those times I understand why people wish they could leave zero stars. I worked in the medical field for many years and am presently working on my degree to have my own practice. Asked if I’d take a bed in the hallway til they had a room available said yes cause I was miserable. However, I should’ve said no. They left me in the hallway for four or five hours right by the ambulance entrance/exit. At the time I was having a massive migraine so not the best location. They ran basic urine (after I (me the pt had too ask) asked to make sure no infections since I do have chronic UTI’s), Covid. No ear examination (seeing as how I’ve had a history of vertigo) or any scans completed. Released after seeing dr 1 1/2 times (I say half cause he only came to ask if I really wanted the urine ran). Discharged me without telling me any diagnosis or discussing anything like your preferred pharmacy. So poor of care, minus the beautiful RN who did her best to make me comfortable with her limitations. Though I work 5 min away I will literally go ANYWHERE else. I had an urgent care visit more than an actual er visit. Just not great"

"This was my first time getting surgery in my life and I was terrified. I really enjoyed the realtime color status update for loved ones! Literally, my surgical team all looked like actors - everyone was beautiful and said all the right things. They made me feel super safe and I was confident going into the operating room. The post-surgery staff were beyond wonderful and helped me through the first night. I wish the rooms were bigger but I did have my own vs some people on the floor had to share. I would have surgery again at this hospital."

"My husband and I delivered our first child at Fair Oaks, and we had a wonderful experience. ALL staff were kind, patient, and experienced. They respected all of my decisions for birth and helped me get through labor, delivery, and post partum. I wanted an all natural birth, and the nurses (Leah, Katie, Jennifer, Michelle, Patricia to name a few) were right there to help me through. In the end, I did opt for an epidural, and I was so frightened. But Dr. Thanh gave me peace. The whole procedure was complete in practically two minutes and just minutes after that, I was relieved of pain while still able to move comfortably. Dr. Pickens delivered my child with ease, walking me through the labor professionally. The lactation consultants empowered me to breast feed when it was initially very challenging. As this was my first child, I didn’t know what to expect and brought an over packed bag that I honestly didn’t need. At Fair Oaks, you can come empty handed. They provide you and your baby with everything you need from ice packs to diapers. The chairs in the rooms, which are nicely sized, turn into beds which was very welcomed for my husband. Lastly, the best food is at breakfast, especially the French toast and coffee. We are really so thankful to Fair Oaks and hope to have our future children there."
