"This hotel had some ups and downs during and immediately after the COVID years, but I had a recent visit to the area and tried it again and honestly the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, the morning breakfast was excellent to get a start on your day (don't expect fancy dining for the breakfast, but for simple quick food before heading off to meetings for business travelers, it was good. Coffee stays available almost all day and night, and they have a pool and weight room. All was clean and well prepped for the guests."

"If you are Military / Government do not stay at this hotel. They have made up their own policy that the Government rate requires orders, contrary to Hilton practices for the rest of the country which only requires a military ID. Really hard to print orders while on travel. They changed the rate during an evening checkin past the cancellation period. Could not reach the manager to correct. Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Hotel. Back to Marriott properties and customer service I go!"

"I stayed here over thanksgiving and it was the worst experience ive ever had. Besides the heavy weed smoke in the hallway and having to evacuate at 3am due to fire alarms going off due to that smoke, my room was freezing cold! The heat did not work. When i asked for maintenance the gentleman at the desk told me they were unavailable and the next morning after 2 nights like this, the gentleman came up and fixed it. Mind you i had a handicapped guest with me. He was the only nice person. When the manager was notified after checkout i received no call back from her and when Hilton was contacted about it they lied to customer care and told them maintenance was never notified. They are a shady bunch of folks and give you the worst experience ever from a Hilton hotel. They should be fined! Do not stay here if you want good sleep! I will be letting the ADA know about the horrible treat myself and my handicap guest received!"

"This has been my go to place when staying in Hampton and I stayed a ton. The clean rooms, quality of service was what cemented the Hampton Inn brand in my family. We now always compare our stays to this place- and it has set a high bar. I couldn’t recommend enough."

"I want to say the staff has been amazing. But as this is the only time I've stayed here it's my only impression. I was put initially in a smoking room, it smelled like a ashtray in a 1980s bowlings alley. I didn't ask for it and I didn't t want my clothes smelling like that for my sister's wedding. The staff quickly switched me, but why was that the go to option in the first place? The rooms are all right the thermostat isn't accurate, at 72 degrees the room felt like a Alaskan winter.... I like cool or cold but something in the ballpark of the thermostat as the sheets weren't that warm. I booked this for convenience and a hot breakfast, after 24 hours of sleepless travel, the thing you want most after falling asleep around 2am is a alarm you didn't set at 6am. I finally fell back asleep and with exhaustion slept my phone alarm for 8am and woke up after 10am missing a hot breakfast. My back is I pain from the bed, the smoking room, and the unwanted alarm are all just catalysts that made this a unwanted experience. The staff has been phenomenal and has done everything they could to make it right, the Staff is a solid 5 stars. The facility and overall experience pails in comparison, so I'm rating this place dead in the middle as great staff is not something you can count on to take up the slack. I will not stay here again."
