"Room rates way too high. Needed updating a decade ago. Sink plugged. Faucet loose. Requested quiet room put us next to the kitchen. Requested new room. Asked for fresh towels the 2nd nite - desk person said "they were fresh yesterday!". You've been warned."
"Decent stay. The free continental breakfast is always nice, though there's essentially only one cart for the whole hotel. Be warned that the windows on the 3rd floor DO open still, so if you have curious children-- keep them away from the windows. I found out during my stay in November of last year, when it was unseasonably warm- and was terrified I could fall out. Other than that, decent place."
"Great stay! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The staff was friendly and it was a very convenient location! I would definitely stay there again if the price is right."
"I will never stay at this location again. First, there was a smell in the hallway as soon as I stepped off the elevator and my room was all the way at the end of the hall and it seemed as though the room hadn’t been used in a while. The valve on the toilet was turned off and not to mention there was a glob of hair plastered on the backsplash of the shower. I stayed from Friday to Sunday and when I left out on Saturday morning, housekeeping was on the hall cleaning rooms, so you could imagine the look on my face when housekeeping never came to my room to make the bed up nor clean the bathroom nor get the old towels and wash cloths or replenish me with fresh towels and wash cloths. I filed a complaint with corporate on this location and the general manager contacted me and stated she would issue me a credit to my account and watch for it to hit my account within the next 5-7 business days. I received nothing and when I called back to corporate on my ticket, my surprise to find out the same general manager contacted corporate to say she had spoken with me but she would not issue any compensation to me after telling me she would. So, now I know this business or lack of one is full of it and the manager is an extreme liar. I can’t stress enough that I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! I would recommend anyone reading this… BEWARE! You would make better time staying at the Red Roof Inn to be honest."
"First, the main reason it only got 3 stars is because the staff decided to put someone with 3 young kids next to my room ...it's a joined room. The oldest (maybe 5) I didn't hear at all and was surprised when I saw her in the hall, because she was so quiet. The other 2, (maybe a 2 yr old and then one that was maybe a month or two old), definitely made their presence known. The middle one could reach the joint-door door knob, slam the drawers on the TV stand, slam the microwave door, and mess with the turn table of the microwave...all very audibly through the joint-door. The youngest, I understand is a baby, but I swear it had bouts of colic. I understand this is not the children's fault. I don't understand why would a desk associate put kids in a joined room where the door offers absolutely NO sound barrier. The pool was down our entire 4 day stay because "rain did something to the water"....but the days inn next doors pool was open. And it didn't look as, um, "quality" as the best western.... however, this area does seem to be very safe and quiet. We, my boyfriend and I, had one towel upon arrival. There was also maybe 4 squares of toilet paper on the roll. Front desk was super helpful in correcting this though. The room was clean and spacious. And stocked aside from that. The cleaning lady I did run in to was super nice and very helpful. A+ on her part. Breakfast is definitely over and done at 9. The coffee machine is on throughout the day though. Not much in the close area. There is a gas station, Walmart, and some restaurants within a 1 mile radius. Anything else really, you'll have to drive at least 15 min if not more. I drove just shy of 9 hours for a vacation to get away, and I'd probably visit the area again, and maybe even the hotel...but I would definitely request a non-joined room."
