"While my treatment during my procedure was ok, Bayview Physicians failed to inform me about co-insurance pay prior to my procedure. My current health care plan covers for 100% of this particular medical procedure, but they failed to follow the right authorization steps to get this covered. Not only that, but I was never told about this until a few months later when I got a pretty hefty bill in the mail. When I spoke to my insurance company, they told me that they needed to follow to right steps back then, and it was too late to file a claim. After several phone calls and getting ignored by Bayview Physicians about the situation, they offered to give me discount on the bill instead. While this could be appreciated, it’s extremely negligent and careless of them to not inform patients about their financial responsibilities prior to performing important medical procedures on them. Please be aware of this."

"Called to ask about a $50 late payment I randomly recieved. The girl I talked to, (stone cold robot) told me I made this appointment a year ago... I didnt make any appointment . They apparently tried to give me a reminder call (no txt, no email) but my mailbox was full. She said it wasn't their fault my mailbox was full and told me I signed a bunch of stuff and I was obligated to pay. When I asked if there was someone else I could talk to, she hung up one me. When I tried to call back, she would pick up and hang up the phone. Totally unprofessional. I finally called a series of different numbers, and ultimately was told they would have to get approval from that same office if my bill was to b upe adjusted. I knew stonecold robot girl wouldn't approve anything, so I just paid. Verry effective scam. Totally worked out for them. Good job American healthcare system"
