"Great place for pipe tobacco. A few things : Store is immaculate and sweet smelling. The selection is fresh and diverse. Staff is passionate and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and appropriate. Their bulk pipe tobacco section is very nice, and a great setup for sampling the important types of leaf. Their selection and inventory indicates knowledgeability and good taste. The store is a great resource for the novice smoker trying to find their way, and the aficionado alike. Note about the "store as humidor" claim: I bought 1oz. of bulk Virginian out of an unsealed glass jar, and opened the bag a few days later to find the leaf moist, fluffy, and intensely fragrant. Humidifying the whole store is a nice touch."

"The staff there are super helpful and knowledgeable about their selection, which is enormous. I bought one of their brand cigars, Shockoe Valley, which was a great smoke and stayed to smoke it in their lounge area. There were a bunch of regulars there (I just moved here so I'm not a regular, yet) and they and the staff were all friendly and sociable while I was there."
