As a visiting black belt they treated me very well and were very open to sharing knowledge. If you are lucky enough to live in the area, you should give this place a try. Instruction is top flight, the owner is friendly and has an impeccable background. This school is well established and has a bench of strong upper belts to learn from and train with. Cleanliness was paramount here. . The kids program was well ran, and the younger students were respectful and engaged. With a background in corporate training and development, I know quality instruction and well ran organizations, and VBJJ checks all the boxes. There are many military and LEO in the adult class. If you are looking for a safe place to learn, grow, and have a sense of teamwork, you should give VBJJ a shot."
