"For anyone who has Anthem health insurance: Ms. Lawson has NOT updated her information with Anthem to reflect that she provides services at this address. Therefore, Anthem will treat her and any of the care she provides or treatment she orders as out of network. Anthem tried getting Capital on the phone only to be told they do not have an insurance claims review department. I've called and emailed and have never received a response, so I am left appealing the claim with Anthem."
"The customer service begins at the front desk. Friendly, courteous and efficient. Erin Lawson was so warm and friendly. I felt very comfortable and confident. I am so glad I found this practice after looking for quite some time."
"Honestly I had the best experience going here. Dr Erin Lawson was amazing and the front desk was so personable, but the fact that you can’t talk to ANYBODY is ridiculous. I got my papsmear a week and a half ago and cannot get ahold of anyone to get my results. They haven’t called, haven’t answered my emails, NOTHING. Honestly this is unacceptable. I’ve left two voicemails and can’t even make an account on their patient portal since I can’t get ahold of them to get their “token” to create an account. Don’t go here. Their care in person might be great, but if you can’t get your results then what’s the point in coming here."
"I found this office by searching online but I am so glad I did. I had my first appointment with Erin and she was wonderful!!!! She asked questions, she listened to me and she didn’t rush through my appointment. I was so impressed because I felt cared for, which is sometimes not the case in the medical field. I would highly recommend this office. The lady at the front desk was friendly and very polite. This has become the exception and not the norm in the world we live in. I work in the medical field and my experience was how every visit to an office should be. The Haymarket location rocks!"
"I transferred out at 20 weeks after we were told by a l&d nurse at the hospital said the Socorro’s at capitals women's care make you give birth only in laying on your back (not ideal for pushing) and that the doctors at this practice only delivery babies from 9-5 Monday through Friday. If you’re in labor outside standard business hours they turn you over the the hospitals OB. I also had a friend transfer care after her 7 week appt here when they said oh we rarely find a heartbeat you’d be surprised how many miscarriages people have. They do not answer the phone, the phone lines are constantly busy. I needed a form from a doctor and his response? I’ve never had to do one of those so I don’t know, unacceptable. it took more than 20 phone calls and a trip to the office to get my file transferred. Someone once told me you are paying for care and you deserve great care. This place doesn’t provide that care."
