"My daughter has been attending training here with coach Biv for a couple of months and my whole family and I are just amazed at her results. He is very consistent and patient, he is definitely an asset to athletes."
"I came here for basketball training and my coach Rodney had this good training plan that helped me see my progress. John the owner of the business was friendly as well. So the training itself is good, no issues. The only things that showed up was that as our sessions kept going, Rodney sometimes started to be less available, and for reasons that I personally don’t understand, such as “I don’t have gas,” and for several days after that he did not get back to me about his availability for the next session. I was trying to finish as many sessions as possible before I move out of the area, but the absence on his end at least partly contributed to the outcome that I still had 6 sessions unfinished by the time I move out. If he were more available, I would have only about 3 sessions unfinished instead of 6. So I tried yo ask for a refund (at least a reasonable partial refund) to the unused 6 sessions. They promised to get back to me about my refund request, but a couple of weeks later, I have not heard from them. This is the reason I give a 3 star: training is good and I enjoyed my sessions with Rodney, but could’ve done better in terms of coach availability and refund policy, especially given the fact that my unfinished sessions is not entirely my fault."
"When I first read the reviews I was thinking he does amazing with the athletes. However I am NO ATHLET. I don't workout and I have neve had a trainer. When I walk in speak to him I felt very comfortable. He was and is VERY PROFESSIONAL. For me as a female with a mail coach that is a must! I liked how he walk me through some of the exercise so I could see what I was getting into. I am on my 3rd week and I am very glad I started working with him. I have learned a lot about myself. I never could do a crunch or squat now its part of my routine. If you are looking for progress please contact Vertex."
"My 13 year old son has been working with Coach Bivens at Vertex Performance and the progress he is making is astounding. My son has had several pitching/hitting coaches over the years, but he has never had such a comprehensive and personalized program developed for him. Coach Bivens incorporates strength training, agility and flexibility into the program to help him become a better athlete overall and his knowledge of baseball mechanics helps to breakdown every component of his pitch and swing to help him improve on those as well. I highly recommend Vertex Performance!"
