"Not the best tennis courts, loud, not enough space behind the courts. Leaving a five star still to support them :)"
"Located in the Georgetown University is the all in one sports arena complex accessible to the students and staff. It includes, Gym, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Squash, Racquet Ball, Football courts. It also features inhouse and outdoor tracks accompanied with a huge swimming pool. It is open till 10pm at weekdays and till 7pm during the weekends."
"I think the Yates Field House is incredibly well designed and well stocked and offers members a wide array of options. The only downside is unavoidable due to its position as a University gym in that it is often crowded and specifically it could use more free weigh racks in the back. Despite this there is rarely a time when I wasnt able to get access to some equipment to achieve my fitness goals."
"It’s pretty old and space is limited. The building must have a pool because you can feel the humidity from it, but I don’t know where the pool is. The gym is heavily used by students and the equipment isn’t spaced well. There are only 3 deadlift platforms. It does have an indoor 200m track and very awkward non-standard shaped outdoor track above the building. It also has a lot of basketball courts and indoor tennis courts (there are no outdoor tennis courts at Georgetown I know of). Equipment is good enough and is usually in good repair. People kinda struggle with reracking their weights in the right spot. It’s well below average for a major university gym, especially with tuition as expensive as it is at gtown, but it’s adequate."
"Realistically, and compared to the other universities' gyms in DC, GT's gym is incredible. It's spacious, well laid out, contains everything one would need. However, it's not without flaws: more machines would be great, an extra rack and bench or two would be helpful, and please can we fix the T-Bar machine!"
