"A great venue. Sometimes there are some technical issues with the sound (either it’s too loud or there’s mic noise). But I enjoy coming here. King Lear was fantastic. Macbeth in Stride fell flat for us (and hurt my ears)."
"I’ve been to the Shakespeare Theatre many times for various plays, and I always love it! This was my first time at the Klein location and I saw “King Lear”. There is a parking garage nearby and it was about $15 on a Friday night. The theatre is in a fun section of town, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The theatre employees are always nice and helpful, and I’ve never had a bad experience with this theatre. I love the small, local feel of it! Will keep coming back."
"Theater is nice venue, smaller size means every seat has a good view of the stage and the sound system is also very good. Drinks and light snacks available in lobby. The play we saw, King Lear, was just so-so, kind of weird as it was set in a modern time period. If you pick the right performance this is a great venue."
"King Lear was a great production!! Kudos to all actors and all who work behind the scenes. Also, the volunteer ushers were friendly and pleasant. The theatre was clean and is located within walking distance of numerous good DC restaurants. Dinner and a show... a great way to spend an evening!"
"Attended a performance of "Vanity Fair"; it was nice. The theater is very clean, great acoustics and lighting, comfortable seating, and the performers this evening did a great job. I look forward to attending this venue again."
