"This park could use a makeover"
"Small neighborhood park that includes the following amenities: Basketball court Playground equipment for small children Two Picnic tables Grills Parking area Plent of trees that provide shade. A wonderful spot for residents of the Fairview neighborhood to relax and enjoy life with their children. Park named in honor of Dr. Franklin Younger, who was a resident of the Fairview neighborhood of Lynchburg."
"Younger is a decent park in Lynchburg I have to admit however, the first visit that I had about 4 months ago I came to watch my son play a game of basketball. The boys my son was playing against were extremely rough , my son blocked a couple of one boys shots , the boy had to go down the hill to get the ball. When the boy came back up the hill, he got very angry with my son and my son and him had to be separated. The opposing team also kept trying to trip my son as he was playing. Not the best first impression but on recent visits, we have met some very nice people , most people speak to you and ask you how you are. The basketball games my son has played in recently, the players have all been good sports , even when my son scored a basket."
"Very well maintained. Not a lot of things to do. Small and more of an intimate park. No restrooms on site. Enjoyed it until older kids came and were talking about inappropriate things and violence."
"Very nice park. The park offers something for small and big kids. It also has picnic tables, grills, and an large field."
