"Such a satisfactory experience. We've had Garcia Wood Finishing paint two kitchens plus other cabinetry for us so far, and will have them do more in the future. The experience is consistently professional and timely, and the final results are stunning. They start and finish when they say. They remove all doors, drawer fronts, and hardware and refinish those in their shop. While those are being done, a crew tapes, masks, and preps the cabinet boxes, trim, toe-kicks, etc, over one or two days. Then a painter sprays on the new finish. The crew comes back and re-installs the doors and drawer fronts in less than one day. The whole project takes about 5 days and costs a fraction of what new cabinets and installation would. We are Commonwealth Home Design, a design/build construction company located in Vienna, VA and have Garcia finish custom cabinetry that we design and build for our clients, plus have had them do a kitchen for ourselves."

"OMG what can I say - a picture is worth MUCH more than 1000 words. I include the "before" and "after" photos of a heirloom hand carved sun chair. It was getting old and was sought to be outside so looked much the worse for wear. I first headed to Home Depot and was given stain by Behr to try to use. As one can see, the results were covered, dark and no grain visible. In shock I called Garcia Wood in Manasses. I spoke to Mr Garcia and his son and visited the site. It was clear I was in the hands of masters. I told them the situation and said anything they can do woukd be better than the mess I made. A few weeks later (with a visit to see the piece stripped but pre staining) the furniture looks like new, beautiful stain, AND it was finished with a boat shellac that also solved my need to have the piece reside on my porch.
