"First time here and I loved it! Went for my birthday brunch and the atmosphere, food, drinks, music and our waiter Moses was amazing! Everything We had tasted good. We did the all you can eat brunch with bottomless mimosas. Moses kept my glass full and was excellent with keeping the food coming. Will definitely be back"
"We decided to have our thanksgiving meal here and were not disappointed. The place was crowded, but we were seated on time with our reservation. The staff was polite, helpful, and fast. The food was delicious and well attended. The restaurant itself had a cool modern feel. Glad we tried this place for Thanksgiving and will definitely try again for another meal."
"The food was amazing. Such a cool spot but the staff really knocked it out of the park. Never have I seen a team of people work together quite that well. Our server, Karen was fantastic and made great recommendations but other staff members were so attentive to the table as well with every pass through the dining room to make sure that everyone had everything they needed. Thanks for a fantastic first dinner in DC!"
"We came here for lunch. We ordered the shrimp and grits which seems popular, French toast, and a latte at this restaurant. The shrimp and grits was good, but there were only 3 shrimp on it, but the flavor was good. The French toast was ok, there were 3 French toast sticks piled like Lincoln Logs which I did get and appreciate the humor there. The latte was fine and typical of restaurants like this. We were interested in the all you can eat waffle and omelette buffet but decided to eat two of the entrees instead. The buffet might be much better so I would say try that if you come here. The wait staff was very nice and polite and made our lunch pleasant although they were busy then. We personally feel it is a little bit more expensive than other restaurants, but the taste is good. It's about 20-60$ per person so maybe for special events. We did not read the reviews about this restaurant beforehand, so we did not know the pennies on the floor. It is unique and original, so you need to see it if you eat here."
