Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) 7101 Hull Street Road North, Richmond, VA 23235

"Honestly I wish I could give this place a 0. The customer service here is an absolute joke. I received a check from my insurance company who unfortunately banks with Bank of America, I however do not. Obviously an insurance check Like the one issue to me typically come from car accidents. Well Being I was in a car accident my car was to this check cash in order to go purchase a new car. Just to make sure I called around to a couple Bank of America's to make sure that I could cash the check there. Upon to coming to this specific location coming into this specific location The original teller I was working with was about to finish processing the check and cash it. Out of nowhere for whatever reason the manager of the site approached her and told her to stop and not cash this check. She then proceeded to tell us that the check or we were not showing up in her system yet and that they could not cash the check. She then advised us to come back an hour later because their systems needed to update. so we left and contacted USAA If the check was OK to be cashed which USAA advise us the check had been cleared since the 18th. Today is the 25th. According to them everything was fine they Didn't understand what the hold up was even agreed to speak with them if they needed to. We came back to this location 3 hours later just to give them a little bit of extra time and once again we're greeted by the rude manager who said "oh you're back?" She was very unprofessional and very rude. She looked at us as if we were trash for whatever reason. Once again upon trying to cash the check she began to degrade USAA and advise us they didn't know what they were talking about that it dealt with the payroll department not whoever we spoke with. First off we never told her whom we spoke with at USAA she just addumed. Before we could get another word in she again denied cashing the check. We then offered to call the insurance company for her and have her verify it directly with USAA. We understood that she couldnt accept our phone being passed to her due to not being able to confirm the identity of the other person on our line. However our insurance was willing to speak with them and was on standby for a call from the bank directly. once again she refused. Needless to say she was the most unprofessional and rudest manager we have ever delt with. Thanks to her I am now another day behind on purchasing a new vehicle another day wasted. This has caused me extreme anxiety and money. let's just say i will be contacting my attorney. This woman has single handedly caused me so much issues do not go to this location. DO NOT BANK WITH BANK OF AMERICA!!!!!!"

"Every time I been here, it is always short on staff, wait so so long at the line, they need more staff to work, especially in this busy location."

"Absolute worst banking experience I’ve ever had! I own a business and make over a quarter million dollars a year. They tried to hold $3100 CASHIERS check for weeks. Deposit it into First community bank Was in The account next day. These people will take your money and provide absolutely zero value. I would encourage any business owner especially, but any person in general to take their money anywhere else. Literally anywhere else! People have been leaving this branch specifically and I’m proud to add my name to that list. Save yourself the headache and choose a wellsfargo or something"

"Was told I cannot withdraw money from my account since my direct deposit was pending. this was supposedly a new rule that took effect in October. Spoke with a call center rep while at this location who told me that was untrue and to visit a different branch. I left and immediately went to the main street branch and was able to withdraw 4500.00 with absolutely no problem, no hassle. I tried to call Turner Road location to tell them that the call center rep was right and they might need to see what's going on with there systems but did not get an answer. Turner road teller and manager did not try to figure this out and showed no concern, understanding or remorse when I explained to them that I had withdrew money on the day my direct deposit hit my account at other locations. I wouldn't recommend this location at all!"
