"My husband had a life threatening emergency while we were camping on hatteras. He was airlifted & I came up here with my 2 dogs in tow. These people rose to the occasion to help me & called my veterinarian to get the health papers they needed to let my dogs be boarded while I deal with this situation. My vet is in Massachusetts. To know my dogs are safe is everything. I don't know what I would have done otherwise & I can tell you 2 other places blew me off"

"The sign out front says “boarding, daycare , training “ wanting my dog to be more behaved around cats,I walked over just to quickly ask the young lady who was letting dogs out to use the restroom did they offer training . She gave cold flat “no” I looked up at the sign and said” so the training part of the sign is incorrect?” To which she gave even more cold “yes” as if this was extremely inappropriate question or something . I’m tired of these businesses that look at black guys crazy when being approached for anything. I have a masters from ODU literally located across the street and my white mom has bordered her dog here many many times when I was in school, entirely from my suggestion after seeing it in passing many times.Yet again another place for the only for whites in a super diverse community . I’m no longer taking these events of obvious racism in stride I will one star every business I go through this at."

"I wish I'd known a long time ago that this place was also a store! I found canned cat food that I thought I could only buy in bulk from Chewy (Weruva brand)... I stopped in because they stock whole, raw foods, and they seemed like the most convenient way to order Blue Ridge Beef ground meats (namely, the ground rabbit). The food selection here is pretty incredible, and they seem to emphasize sustainable and/or US brands. I'm thrilled to have a local source, now!"

"Not my personal pet, but a poodle I work for gets her haircuts here every few weeks. They always do a fantastic job on her, I mean look how adorable!♡ Her groomers are super friendly, and the attached retail store has all the things you could possibly want."

"I would honestly give zero stars if I could. The staff was very nice. But I did not get what I paid for. It was an extra $10 for the de shedding and as you can see from the pictures my cats where not de shed. This was just from one of my cats. When I got home and noticed she was still shedding the same amount of hair as when I dropped her off I called and the lady I spoke with told me, after speaking to her manager, that I could bring my cats in later for a free brush out. The problem is I am leaving for two week. So I have to bring them in after that. I and just very displeased. I wasn't there while they where washing my cats, but I the only difference is their fur is soft and smells good. But they are shedding the same amount of fur as they always do. After spending $110 to have my cats groomed I am very disappointed. I ended up spending five minutes brushing one of my cats and those pictures where the product of that. Very very disappointed."
