"The sand part is a bit on the thin side as to distance between river and the grass. Picnic table area has lots of shade. There is a snack area and a rest room building. There is a good sized parking area. If you bring paddle boards, kayaks, etc, there is a drop off area that allows you to drive much closer to the water/ramp. Much of the parking has shade so this helps to limit the temperature inside your car. Dogs are allowed on leashes."
