"Worst financial aid experience of my life. If you need financial aid, don't go to ODU. They will not work with you at all"
"Most who answer are rude and useless, and when I say useless I mean completely useless. They don't have intention to help at all so I am confused why you are working. April was the only nice helpful person, thank you April."
"Gina is the rudest individual I have ever spoken to in the financial aid office. From acting like I was bothering her by asking her to do her job to cutting me off. Not only was she rude, she gave me information that I already knew, my initial question was never answered."
"I wish to give them zero myself, if it were possible. The staff is RUDE, even how they pick up the call they do not sound like they want to help you if anything their tone is enough to kill your vibe. ODU is one of the worst schools I’ve ever attended, money is being invested elsewhere and students are owning so much. A school is nothing without its students. They need new workers to be honest. I don’t like this school because of the people…genuinely the worst encounter have been the times of people I’ve met. Just unlucky, so do do your research before coming to this school, or any school really."
"I’m highly upset with this college and the financial aid department. They are trying say I owe a balance of 2,986.25 and they said I would have to take out loan and no one could help me. They said oh I would have to go into collections and I could register for my classes. I would definitely never come back and would not recommend anyone. They don’t help at all and it’s more run around over."
