"I visited the Store in afternoon around 7:30 PM The light outside was not turned on and so dark in parking lots for moment I thought they are closed but they were open just forgotten to turn lights on. I did my regular grocerry and when I reached home I looked at the my recepit I found the Afghani casheir over charged me and next day I drove back to store to get a Refund for over charges. I just encourage the shopper before leave the place make sure not get over charge. Thanks"
"Looks small from the outside, but it's laid out so well inside that it feels bigger. They have a great selection of packaged products and an amazing array of baked goods. Their bamieh is so delicious that it shows up in my dreams."
"Oh I so love this store. The breads are always fresh and my husband love their baklava. The store is so organized even though it has a small area. The owner was very nice too and give us a free torshi."
"Dropping by Al Nakheel Market yesterday discovering it is permanently closed and having a great deal of spare time I decided to make the rounds about Vienna going to Wooden Bakery, Yas Bakery and Assal Market. I have relied on Al Nakheel Market and Assal Market for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food, ingredients and spices for many years. Though I have known about Wooden Bakery and Yas Bakery yesterday was my first visit to them. Yas appeared to my eye to be about the same square footage as Al Nakheel was and each of them about half the size of Wooden and Assal. I thought Yas was well organized, well lit, clean and easy to shop. Yas has a wide variety of baked goods and pastries that is impressive. Yas variety and volume of baked goods and pastries is much, much greater than Wooden and Assal, and Al Nakheel when it was in business. I only bought pita bread and a slice of pistachio baklava at Yas because I went to Wooden first buying most of what I needed. The baklava was pretty good. It was moist and sweet, close to being cloying. Though moist the top layers of filo sheets were on the burnt side. My taste benchmark for quality baklava has been skewed by Fairfax Bakery which is an American and Mediterranean café and bakery. There is not a grocery or market component to it. The owners/bakers are Turkish and the aroma, flavor and texture of their baklava is off the hook. While Yas baklava is, in my opinion and taste experience good, Fairfax Bakery’s is elevated to superstar status for me."
"A fantastic Persian bakery in Vienna. They are also a nice supermarket for many items you won't find other places, and some you will. I strongly suggest you take a stop by and get some nice items that are hard to find, like brown basmati rice and a great olive and but selection. You can also get a nice selection of lamb meat. Even more rare items like lamb tongue. The staff are very friendly, and can answer questions. I highly suggest this shop. :)"
