"The staff are real awesome. It’s a real neat place."
"I started classes Spring Semester of 2022 and with locations throughout the Tri-Cities Northeast State Community College has grown into a great educational facility. They are there to help you with any and all of your issues you might have and they will do everything in their power to help you overcome any obstacles that might be in your way. If you are a first-generation student (your parents don't have a college degree) like myself, there is an organization to help you adjust and help make any concerns or issues practically non-existent. Every Doctor, Professor, and employee is there to help you succeed and be the best in your chosen field of study. NeSCC works with all of the 4-year universities in TN to help make sure all of your credits will transfer if you choose to go beyond an Associates degree. NeSCC offers everything, Continuing Education Credits, Certificate programs, Associates Degrees and so much more. If you ever thought about going back to school it's never too late. I was 55 years old and enjoying my college years and trying to take full advantage of everything NeSCC has to offer."
"Although I am probably biased, seeing as I work here, I can say that this is a great central point for local young students and those adults returning to school for further education to come and get your degree!"
"Friendly staff, way more concrete than other places. They pay pretty well too"
"Was there scrapping out Stainless, copper, and brass early Dec. 2012. Scale operator weighed But didn't print receipt for brass (98lbs). I caught it after walking away from scale and he weighed the brass again this time the scale showed 87lbs. Where did the 11 lbs go? I don't know, I didn't keep my eyes on the container the whole time. The large truck scale fluctuates widely. I have been there three times since they opened, twice because J&L was closed and once because they were paying more for brass. I will never make the mistake again! J&L is family owned and operated and always weighs correctly."
